Very nice course at a very good price
Considering how much rain there has been the course was in as good a condition as possible . Really nice golf course with challenging holes.
Greens are tricky and well kept
Really nice track would recccomend
Slow play
Round took a total time of 4 hours and 50 mins. Playing behind a women’s fourball match play competition. Constantly waiting as both players and spectators stopping to talk during play. Spectators then proceeded to walk across fair way and stop to chat as we where trying to take approach shot into the green. Pace of play signs should have been adhered to.
Clubhouse
Excellent course. Provides a good challenge. Some great holes. Par 3s excellent. Only issue was clubhouse not being open at 8.20 for scorecards etc
A pleasant golf experience
Enjoyable yet challenging course to play. In good condition overall having regard to the recent weather and rainfall. Greens in very good condition but slow due to the heavy coverage of dew. Nonetheless well worth playing and good value for money.
Members let it down.
First off the golf course itself is very challenging and in excellent condition, a fantastic challenge for any golfer! However, some of the members of this golf course let themselves & their club down with their obnoxious and rude behaviour toward visiting golfers. This sort of behaviour is what prevents golf as a sport from moving forward from the elitism of the past, particularly effecting younger golfers and those new to the game.
It is for this reason why I have given such a poor rating, and can say with certainty that I will not play this course again in future.
Highly recommended
The course was in excellent condition and it is a really good layout with a great variety of holes. The greens were fast and true and, staff and members were very friendly and welcoming.
2 ball match play completion slowed down pace of play
Played this course yesterday as a 2 ball and took a total of 4 and a half hours to play 18 due to slow pace of play, stuck behind 3 ball who wouldn’t let us past, and they were slowed by a 2 ball in a competition
Not a good look considering paying high green fee
Balbriggan
Excellent value for money. Front 9 is delightful and really well maintained. Every hole presents a different challenge. Back 9 not at the same level but still good
Fair & tough
Good course , tough when wind is blowing - greens and fairways in excellent condition - would recommend the course to anyone - enjoyable
Great warm greeting in the pro shop. Testing course with some notable holes like 2,9 and 15.
Greens were only sanded and were bobbly but otherwise the course was in good nick and we enjoyed the day. Will be back.
