Excellent afternoon
Booked via the app for a game whilst in Dublin for the weekend.
We had a brilliant afternoon on a superb course, with some challenging holes and tricky greens.
Everyone we spoke to whilst here were very welcoming and friendly, and this made the whole experience a highlight of our trip
Fantastic course, really well layed out. Some short but tricky holes. Great plotters course
Fantastic course, really well layed out. Some short but tricky holes. Great Plotters course
Warm welcome, lots of water!
We lost quite a few balls to the water but the wildlife was worth it. The course was very natural. The members were so friendly and warm. No map on the score card but well signposted. Would love to play again.
Brilliant Course
Excellent value for money. Course was in good condition. Only issue was that there could be more signs up to show next tee box.
Good Day Had. Course very good considering we had so mush rain previous 4 days.
No Showers in Clubhouse Messed up the Day.
Great value
Delightfully surprised at how good it was. Greens were very good. Course was fairly short and score able. Really really impressed by the greens. The fairways were very firm and everything rolled out but really good day our
good course
greens great condition, few bare patches on fairways but no problems overall
Nice course
A nice course, plenty of trouble if not straight, I thought there were to many water hazards, and bushes were nearly impossible to find your ball.
after hole three there was signage to the next hole i took the tee besides the gree it was wrong
You will not be disappointed
Superb course with first class Greens.
35 euros for visitor fee on weekdays is fantastic value.
This was my second time playing this course & although it takes me 90 minutes to drive here it is well worth the effort. Being quite close to the coast it has quite a Linksy feel to it. Very playable and a well laid out Championship course with well maintained fairways.
There is a putting green & a couple of nets when getting warmed up . The only gripe I have is that there is no practice chipping green.
Good food & friendly staff in the clubhouse. Will definitely be back.
Balcarrick
Very disappointed only 11 holes playable & half of them should have been closed
We were given the choice of playing the 11 & a few extra holes. We agreed but we’re very disappointed with the conditions 4 of these holes were not playable & the course should have been closed
You can check with staff as to the conditions!!
Paul.
Balcarrick G.C.in great condition.
Played Balcarrick golf course on Mon 8th April 2024 for the first time in approx 12 - 15 years. Weather was quite bad lots of rain which is probably why I had the entire course to myself as didn't see even one other golfer out for my entire round which was great actually. Even with the bad weather the course was in fantastic condition and the greens were perfect also on every hole too. I really enjoyed my visit to Balcarrick especially after having not played the course in so long and the head pro in the pro-shop was also very friendly and helpful as well. I had a great day was delighted with my 36 pts and I will most definitely be back again soon as the course is good value for money and I highly recommend playing here to everybody.
