Very much enjoyed playing here, very scenic with some great views of the estuary. Some testing holes, whole course in fantastic condition. Playing early I had the course to myself, would definitely play agsin, although it is quite expensive
Challenging, well-kept course, with beautiful views. Most of the courses in Flintshire were closed today, due to heavy rain yesterday, but this course was in really good condition. Greens are perfect. Never played a hole like the 14th. It must be a 50m drop from the tee to the pin. It is very hilly. Won't need to go to the gym this week. Next time I'll get a buggy!
Pennant Park Revisited
A tiring round of golf whilst walking, self inflicted. Most enjoyable and challenging course to play, which is in an excellent condition, credit to the greens staff.
course is in fantastic condition greens r fast would play again back nine holes are tough but challenging
A great course, tucked away in North Wales. Always seems too quiet for such a nice challenging course. Not that I’m complaining, price is very good, can pay a lot more for a lot worse!
Open course so not too much change of losing balls, but positional play is still important and can’t always smack drivers off the tee!
Mid week knock
Have been playing here for about 20 years off and on.
Love the course, layout, fairways views , you can’t fault the place
However...the greens aren’t the best unfortunately, they look a little ropey and they had just sanded a number of the greens which, when coupled with the dry spell that we are having, made them look even worse.in defencevthey played not too bad but it’s just such a shame that they look and play as they do or this course would be fantastic
Saying that I’m still going to come back a couple of times a year though as I love everything else about the place so please don’t be put off going.
Great course and some mavelous holes with great views.Met owner in the clubhouse and found him very chatty and friendly .Even though I had a variation of weather conditions I had a great day.
A Hidden Gem
Played the course yesterday with a friend and to be honest it was actually like millionaires golf. Weather was fantastic, views were spectacular, staff really friendly, course condition was a credit to the green-keeper.
The course itself had enough challenging holes to keep you thinking with a mix of up hill, down dale holes, slopes, water, tight funnels, then a couple of quite easy relaxing ones.
We will be visiting again without a doubt.
Mr PRAKASH BHOJANI
good a lot of hills and nice groups. Friends said me good games and like there!
It’s a beautiful course, well payed out and makes you think. You can’t just take a driver out on each hole and hopenitngors straight. Each hole has its challenges and club selection is key.
Can’t wait to go back.
GREAT ALL ROUND CHALLANGE
great greens and fairways!! stunning views back 9 would always recommend buggy has its hilly.
Course in great condition for April
1st time at this course and would definitely go back again.
Front and back 9 are different challenges which was fun.
Course was in good condition but the greens would benefit from a roll. All fairways were great and well maintained. If like me you find walking hard on hilly courses then get a buggy for £20 as this is a hilly course. Staff were friendly as were the members we met.
A must play
Not a bad course
Has some nice holes bit hard to find the next hole on front nine over all a good round
H/c 20 scored 90
