Dunedin Golf Club

I know it rained heavy and cart path on a few holes,,. Staff is fantastic and will definitely revisit on dryer conditions! Plenty of room for errant shots but can still save par or bog…

We had a great round at Dunedin! The staff members were extremely friendly and even with poor weather the night before the course was playable and well maintained. The carts are top notch. We flew in from out of state for a one day golf trip. Dunedin was well worth the trip. Every one on the staff came up to chat with us and ask about our trip and had a good laugh or two.

It seems that part of the course was in shape and the rest, not so much,. For the cost and to shape of course, not worth it. Drainage not good.

Nice course but the starter could have spoken to us. He could have mentioned that there were holes cartpath only on the back. He could even have welcomed us. Anyway...We had a nice afternoon playing a great track.

We arrived early for our tee time in anticipation of teeing off early as it gets dark at 5:30 now. When we approached the 1st tee there was no starter or golfers there for 25 minutes so we started to tee off. The starter then showed up and was very disrespectful and rude, made us wait for another 15 minutes. The wait caused us to push the people in front of us the entire round. We didn't finish 18 holes.

I have been playing here off and on over the past 7 years and find it fun, fair but challenging. The greens are difficult as they are often elevated and tiered but that's what Mr. Ross designs in his courses. A few water holes on the back nine make it even more challenging but again fair. The course needs a little work in that there were some "bad" spots on the greens and tees but considering the time of year not too bad. Certainly the cost makes this somewhat of an issue but the course is busy during this time of year so I understand that. But if you are a true golfer play the course and I thing you'll find it fair but challenging and then you can go home and say you played a true Donald Ross course!

Nice course in Dunedin. Front 9 easier then back 9. Course in great conditions. Pace a little slow, but it was Sunday. Overall a must play!!

I understand it’s that time of year in Florida where there are a lot of golfers, but a ranger definitely needs to be out there moving golfers on. Very very slow pace.
