Dunedin Golf Club was carved out of citrus groves and was the PGA National Golf Course until 1962. The golf course itself is delightful. From elevation changes to a river that bisects the course, you can just feel the aura of the great golfers who have played here. Bobby Jones, Gene Saraze, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Byron Nelson, Paul Runyan to name a few have participated in tournaments here. Dunedin Country Club is located in Dunedin, minutes from the beaches, many restaurants and several top hotel options. Dunedin Golf Club is a Donald Ross creation.

What happened

Play this course a few weeks ago and the conditions were OK played there yesterday and the conditions were horrific Greens have bare spots lots of ground under repair lots of bare areas in the fairway really unknown of what has happened to the conditions here in the past couple weeks I would not recommend this course.

Expected more from a TPC course

Not up to par with other TPC courses. Some fun holes, but the greens were very slow and inconsistent. Pace of play was terrible. Would be worth it around $75 or less. Not over $100 a round.

Decent GN deal

Older course with little in the way of a signature hole. Pace of play was a bit over 4 hours. Fairways are good, greens ok and tee boxes ok. Bar and grilll is good especially if you hit happy hour. In the Clearwater Beach area this is a 3.5 on scale of 5.

GREAT DAY ON THE COURSE

Scored a great "Hot Deal" for Dunedin. The course conditions are improving after the long wet summer. Greens were good, fairways were good and they're slowly fixing the tee boxes. All around great value!
