About
Dunedin Golf Club was carved out of citrus groves and was the PGA National Golf Course until 1962. The golf course itself is delightful. From elevation changes to a river that bisects the course, you can just feel the aura of the great golfers who have played here. Bobby Jones, Gene Saraze, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Byron Nelson, Paul Runyan to name a few have participated in tournaments here. Dunedin Country Club is located in Dunedin, minutes from the beaches, many restaurants and several top hotel options. Dunedin Golf Club is a Donald Ross creation.

Best starter to keep things moving
We booked The 7:30 AM tee time assuming it would be the first on the box of the day. When we pulled up to the box we were informed that there is league start at 7 AM, all walkers and we would not be able to tee off till at least 750. Tony handled the situation meticulously and we were able to finish our round and just over three hours getting ahead of all the league members. My buddy and I play golf all over the US and this starter is one of the best.
Enjoyed this old Donald Ross course.
Course was I good shape and greens were good as well. Pace of play was a little slow. No ranger. Overall good experience. I will play there again.
Great course
Really enjoyed the course. Only thing I was a little disappointed in was the greens were slow.
!st Time BUT Not The Last
We enjoyed our round. Well maintained fairways and greens. Interesting placemen of some of the sand traps. Tree lined mad it a challenge to keep the drives straight, but not unfair and an average golfer will enjoy it.
Lovely Course at old style Country Club
Dunedin Golf Club, founded 1927, lives up to the nearly century old layout and authenticity. Course is medium to long, with beautiful smooth and fast greeens. Old trees and palms line the fairways on many holes. Very enjoyable track.
Greens need work
Several of the greens have serious trouble areas. Tee boxes also need work. I personally am not a fan of courses that zig zag, so not my ideal layout, but a lot of people were walking and it is designed for that. Didn't have any holes that really stood out to me.
Stolen golf bag
I let my standing bag at 10 feet of the pro shop and after 1 min inside someone stolen my golf bag. I know that all the staff , specially the pro and he’s assistant was very helpful but it’s frustrating that is impossible to talk or wrote to Golfnow to have a refund .

Nice Donald Ross Layout
This is an interesting course with typical Donald Ross greens which is in decent shape and a good value. I always enjoy playing it and this time was no exception. Will definitely be back..
