Dunedin Golf Club
About
Dunedin Golf Club was carved out of citrus groves and was the PGA National Golf Course until 1962. The golf course itself is delightful. From elevation changes to a river that bisects the course, you can just feel the aura of the great golfers who have played here. Bobby Jones, Gene Saraze, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Byron Nelson, Paul Runyan to name a few have participated in tournaments here. Dunedin Country Club is located in Dunedin, minutes from the beaches, many restaurants and several top hotel options. Dunedin Golf Club is a Donald Ross creation.

Course ok . Clubhouse poor
Course ok. Some greens burnt out. Foursonevahead was sliw with entire hole open aheeaf. Went in to eat after. At 5:10 greated with “kitchen clises at 5:30 and we close at 6”. We ordered immeduately then waited 25 minutes for food. Forgit soup. Then out auto 20% on bill. Course nit worth the drive and diniing experience terrible. Won’t be back
Sweet treat in Dunedin
Wonderful round on a clever course. Thinking and execution critical.
Rain delayed , bit truly enjoyed the day
Nice day on the course
The course is challenging for a not so great golfer like me, but fun. I was a single and they pared me with tow other golfers.
Great course every time
My favorite course in the county. I don't play often, but when I do, I always come here. The most consistent conditions and always challenging, even from the white tees. Fast greens. Love it. Think its going 10 feet, it goes 15. Look out Champions Tour. 79 today. LOL. Oh, yeah, great hotdogs.
Great Old Course
Great Layout and challenging. Greens were fast and true.
should have told us
2 of the par 5's were being played from 100 yards due to work being done on the course. It greatly changes the course.
Tough Course
Course is naturally tough, the wet conditions made it that much more difficult. A long course, but a challenging one. Will definitely play again when it is not as wet.
No Raincheck
The front 9 was crazy slow. Held up by a threesome who was 2 holes behind the group of them. We got lucky that they went to get drinks at the turn so we jumped ahead. We only got 1.5 holes before the storms hit. We went to the temp clubhouse and it was locked. Guess no rain-checks for us.
Dunedin golf club
Course was in pretty decent shape, a little wet but the greens still rolled nicely. Not quite worth $50 green fee but would go back when hot deal are available.
Nice Day!!!
Folks they paired us with were as slow as Turtles.....
boooooo.....
Dunedin
Only fair condition. Hard to follow layout — not well marked. Very small tee boxes and in poor shape. Played longer than marked. Enjoyed hole layouts. Lots of water on back nine. Would play again.
Awesome course with snail-like pace
Course is effectively dealing with large amount of recent rainfall. Effective management of COVID limitations. Horrendous pace of play as on Friday's the course routinely allows multiple groups of 5-somes play. One person in the group in front of us could barely walk yet he is playing in a group of 5.
Good course; amenities under construction.
The course is in beautiful shape. The greens played alittle slow but in immaculate shape compared to what I’ve seen around the area. I played a little later in the day so I ran into some traffic to the point that the foursome behind was catching up to me. A little frustrating. Upon arriving to the course the cart barn and pro shop is under construction so the pro shop currently is a contractors trailer. The only thing really available inside is golf balls and miscellaneous apparel. All in all I would definitely come back and play this old Florida course!
