Got to play this Donald Ross course for $20. The greens were in great shape and tricky too. More of a parkland course...not much water. Played on a Thursday afternoon and the course was pretty crowed but still managed to play 18 in 3 hours. Joined up for a few holes with a couple who were playing 9 then finished out on my own. Everyone was nice. Pro shop was locked after my round (finished at 4:30) so I didn't get a chance to buy souvenirs. All in all a good experience.

Course in great shape.Had to dodge 40 minute t-storm and heavy rain but typical this time of year due to 130pm tee time.Got great rate from GolfNow.I play this course any time I can...

Former home of the PGA! The course is well maintained with trees, bunkers and just a touch of water. Beautiful Donald Ross course with elevated greens.(remember to club up)

A old style course that was in good shape - Fairways were alittle long in places but at least they had grass which is s tep ahead on many of the courses in this area. Greens had been aerated but filled in with sand and putted really well although they may not have looked great. Pro shop reception was outstanding and helpful. This is a course that makes you think and as a result enjoyable.

Course had been aerated the week previous. Just starting to come back, that's why only 3 stars. Gentlemen in clubhouse was great , pace was good, and this is not an easy course. Can't wait to play it at full potential.

The course is challenging but accessible. They air rated the greens only 10 days ago, but they were already rolling well. Definitely will play again.

Played with my wife and both of us enjoyed our round. Course could be considered old fashioned, but it is nice to play something different. Staff friendly and had a good lunch. Also this is a very historic course As home of the PGA for many years - some fantastic photos of Bobby Jones, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead etc..

Green were aerated but otherwise good shape. Donald Ross for thirty dollars is tough to beat.

This is a great course to play even with the greens being aerated....plus a great price for the small inconvenience. I knew in advance.

This is a classic old course which tests all class of golfers. It's not too long and it's defence is the elevated design of the greens which requires decent ball control on approach shots. It's a pleasure to play a course with such history. I'll be back !

This was my 1st trip to this course. I like the course layout and distance. My issue is the course was just airaited. The fairways had lines throughout and the greens were pretty much unputtable. The round dirt pieces were dumped all over the course making some shots to the green an issue. I wonder what this course would be like under normal conditions.

This course was in amazing condition. From tee to green it is the best of the courses that i played. I can't wait to get back to Florida so that i can play it again... 5 stars across the board.

Course is in very good condition. Greens rolling smooth, but a little slower than normal. Staff at pro shop very cordial which sometimes is not the same at other places wen you're not a member (and paying great low rates on golfnow). Went as a single but joined three others and had a great time.

We played there for the first time. Heard it was a good course, and were not disappointed.
Good conditions, challenging and interesting, great value for money. Will definitely play there again.

We only played 12 holes because we were on a 5 hour pace due to slow play by the two groups in front of us. There was a ranger, but he didn't remind the two groups to keep up the pace that I know of.

Moderately challenging. Few rough spots but overall really good condition. Pace was nice but wasn't terribly crowded.

golf course was in great shape. typical Donald ross design. very challenging course. play was a little slow. 4.5 hours for 18 holes

I've played many courses in the area and this one by far is the best value for the money. The course conditions are right up there with higher end tracks like Westchase and you pay half the price. The layout isn't the tightest out there but the greens are cut very short with a lot of undulation, and are well protected by hazards.

Very nicely kept course but very challenging for the average duffer

A special course as all Donald Ross courses are. Excellent condition and super friendly and helpful staff. A must play again for me.
