About
Dunedin Golf Club was carved out of citrus groves and was the PGA National Golf Course until 1962. The golf course itself is delightful. From elevation changes to a river that bisects the course, you can just feel the aura of the great golfers who have played here. Bobby Jones, Gene Saraze, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Byron Nelson, Paul Runyan to name a few have participated in tournaments here. Dunedin Country Club is located in Dunedin, minutes from the beaches, many restaurants and several top hotel options. Dunedin Golf Club is a Donald Ross creation.

Good course layout and condition. Friendly and helpful staff.
Hang on for the ride
Challenging course. Back 9 more so. Raised greens, tricky greens want to be below the hole most of time. Can see why the pros played here. Greens very well guarded lots of sand. Fairways wide and mostly forgiving off the tees.
Greens are getting rough and need some much-needed repairs and maintenance.
The rest of the course was in good shape.
The pace of play was extremely slow and it took more than 45 mins to get through the first three holes.
Good Course at Hot Deal pricing
Enjoyed playing this course and was good value at Hot Deal price . Regular price is not worth paying..
Needs a Lot Of Help
This pains me to post but I feel it’s needed.
I am sure at one point and time this course was amazing. There is one huge thing that is lacking, money spent on the course. You can only rest on your laurels for so long. You can only take so much from a course without putting anything back in. That’s what I felt was happening here.
It’s regretful but true.
Number 12 is a perfect example. The scenery and landscape is so over matured and the hole needs a complete overhaul.
It looks so out of place.
Hopefully someone will spend the money and bring this course back to the proper conditions.
Good value but needs some love
Drought has made it tough to keep up. It’s got a lot of potential but need a little more maintenance. Very slow we quit after 14 but they said it was was their most crowded day ever. Staff nice
Great Layout - enjoy Donald Ross Courses
Great pace of play & really like layout of course. Teeboxes could use some improvements as appears a lot of play. My buddy drove green on 14th hole & won't stop talking about it. Overall fun day.
Fantastic Layout
Course is a great layout. Has a lot of history behind it. Overall conditions good, except a lot of bare spots on fairways, could use added grass or sprigs. Challenging layout with several tough holes.
Avid Snowbird Golfer
Have played here many times over the years and fairways and rough are as good as I've ever seen them. Greens could improve, but are decent. Best public course value in the area!
