Loved the course
Enjoyed our round. Paired up with 2 great guys from Canada. Good pace . Well taken care of. Will definitely go back .
Always A Great Course !!!!
Any time I get a chance to play Citrus Springs I will. I'm in spring hil now so it takes me an hour to get there but its worth it. There was a few rough fairways and a few patchy greens but all in all its well worth it. Yamaha gas carts are needed for the hills on this course. Woud have been perfect if not for the slowsome in front of us. And they were playing best ball.
I really like this track
When I arrived at the course I popped my trunk to grab my clubs... DANG!!! I left them in my brother-in-laws car after we played the day before. I went in and explained the situation attendant. No problem. Head back, get your bag and when you get back we will work you in. They did exactly that over an hour later. Just good folks. The greens and fairways were not in great shape. But, for $25 it was just great. We also took time to have a few beers and eat lunch. Nice folks, cold beer and good food there as well I really like the layout and the staff. I will make this one of my regular courses when I am down here visiting in the future.
ROOTS AND RUTS
This course is good for the money, but they need some help. The fairways are blotchy and the holes on the greens have a crown, I think when they moved the holes they pulled up too hard causing a crown at the hole. I like it since I'm a hacker and the price is right.
Rough ride
Cart patches that are like mine fields, downed trees and limbs everywhere. Half the greens had areas that were bare and diseased and fairways mostly filled with dead crab grass. Tees were mostly crowned which made for wayward drives by golfers who don't play alot like me. Sure your saving money playing here but is the aggravation and high scores worth it?
Keeps getting better
Course keeps getting better, especially the greens. Some still need help but overall improving.
I play this course every time I’m in the area. Nice layout. Some greens need alittle help but for the price hard to beat. ($21) 18/w. Cart.
Still the same. Needs work
Needs help on greens and fairways but the price is right
Rough fairways all else great
Enjoyable, good course for average player. Don’t lose excessive balls
Fair course
For the money its fine. I have played this course a handful of time and expect it to get better. It needs work especially on the greens. The fairways need help as well.
Membership review for 2024
This was an outing of the 4 of us to rate this course. We will be changing our membership for 2024 and wanted to look at this course. It's actually the tail of 2 courses. The front was in terrible shape. Both the tee boxes and the greens had a large lack of grass. Almost unplayable. The fairways need work as they are going back towards a cow pasture condition. The back 9 had 7 good tee boxes and 8 very good greens. The fairways were a little better. Group decision of not a good value for us as we continue our adventures.
Good course for the money
You can usually get a good deal on GolfNow for about $20-$25. This course is definitely worth that. Great layout, fast greens and a cart girl with drinks! Fairways and tee-boxes are in rough shape so this course is not for golf snobs. It’s a value course and it is always fun to play.
