Citrus Springs Golf & Country Club

Played here for the first time last week and the layout and hills are among the best I have seen. Tee boxes and fairways are in poor condition but for 20$ or even less on golf now, you really shouldn’t complain. This is not a course for golf snobs because there are much better maintained courses nearby but you are going to pay 40$plus per round. Locals like me will continue to play here for the excellent deals to be had. 15 out of the 18 greens were in very nice condition. The layout is spectacular for the average Joe like me. They even have a cart girl driving around all day which most other expensive courses do not have. I will definitely come back!! I just hope it stays in business.

I always value a course by expectation / price. For what I paided I can't complain..in the past the greens were good but not now.

Tee to green has always been a lot to be desired.

Fairways are in extremely bad shape. T boxes in extremely bad shape. I thought lakeside was in bad shape this place ravels it.

Great track. Enjoyed the challenges. Was a little Diana pointed in some of the fairways. Needed some maintenance. A good mow of the fairways would have gone a long way. In general it was a good test and the green were better than many I have recently played.

Terrible condition fairways for full of weeds. T boxes look like crap. Greens were terrible. Apparently they don’t have a budget to take care of the golf course. Looks like they’re gonna go out of business soon. Last time I will play there

The greens on this course are fantastic. Very true to roll and very smooth. However, there is still the possibility of losing a ball in the fairway. There are fescue clumps in many areas of the fairway. Sadly enough, this would be a great course despite that one flaw. It is my hope that this course does not go the way of one of its sister courses.

This course is in HORRIBLE condition. In spite of the recent storms, weeds running amuck throughout every fairway. Greens were in disarray. Sections of the cart path are not navigable. I've played alot of courses and this was in the absolute worse condition ever. The layout has a lot of potential, but needs new superintendents. I'm embarrassed for them.

They layout is great. Lots of elevation changes. The course conditions are the worse that I've ever played. There are patches of fairway in the otherwise rough. You can actually lose your ball there. The greens are all over the place. Some of the tee boxes are just dirt. Not many cart paths that don't require 4wd. It's too bad.

greens were okay but cut a little long-so slow. fairways quite a few weeds. Rough too long.

We have played here for the past 5 years. The greens have always been beautiful and well kept. There's always been some patches around the green that needs some work, but it was very playable. Fairways and tee boxes were always kept nice. This was absolutely the worst shape I've ever seen this course in! The fairways are full of weeds! Weeds are intruding on the greens! We played an early morning round and paid full price. I wouldn't pay more than $15 to play this course. This makes me very sad. It's always been one of our favorites.

Cart path is washed out in several locations. Greens are in good condition. Fairways are in good condition for this course. Don't miss the fairways as the rough is 6 inches in places and hard to find balls.

More weeds than grass. on fairway. Roughs need to be cut. Cart paths are horrible. Most greens were okay but slow.

Owner needs to fix stuff and clean up the fairway.
