Turtle Creek not Oyster
Very slow pace waiting on every single hole to tee off and also on fairways. This is a short course which should not taking 4 hours.
The only positive was the greens, you must take the time to walk around the green or you will miss the breaks. But how do you do this when you are being stared down by golfers waiting behind you.
Interesting place to play
The course has its challange at some holes. The overall impression was a bit unkempt. The greens were tough.
Enjoyable course
The greens were in good shape. Even though there were only two in our group pace of play was good. Bee followed a 4-some and they offered to let us play through but we declined. Still finished the round in just over 3 hours. Some challenging holes and nice layout.
Narrow fairways, but fun.
Challenging yet fun executive course. Sadly, I was not able to enter my score in the GHIN system, because it doesn’t appear to have a current slope rating, which is unfortunate.
Love the challenge
This was a really challenging course Frontline following into the back nine kind of eases off but I will definitely play this course again
Rough shape, tee boxes are not good. Pace of play was extremely slow from 9 through 18.
Oyster Creek
This course was affected by Hurricane Ian. And then again by Hurricane Helene. They are working hard to restore the course. But we were not aware what bad shape the course was still in. We paid less to play premier courses in the same area. Just disappointed. The gentleman in the proshop was awesome. And of course we played quickly as we were the only ones on the course. I understand the they are working diligently on the course to be ready for the up coming season. When it is in good condition, it is a great course to play to work on your short game.
Course is a disaster
Played recently with a friend in anticipation of starting up our ladies group who played there before it closed. Its a disaster, just like it was before they closed. Cancelled the group outing. I couldn’t in good faith oay $42 to play there again!
