Excellent golf course
Very challenging but enjoyable. Lots of thinking about club selection through the back 9.
Don’t be fooled by the short distance!
First time playing here on a hot deal £17.99. Normal price if £30 is a bit steep IMO. Lovely course in great condition. Had petrol buggy that backfired every now and again!! The short par 4 holes all have a challenge eg 16th which requires a drive of only 130-140 yds. More or less is a problem!
Nice clubhouse does meals that looked good value. Would definitely play here again
Sunday visit
Builth Wells GC is always an excellent course to play, with visitors welcomed by staff and members alike.
Have played the course with our local society and with a couple of golfing friends all comments are positive.
We’ll done Builth Wells!
Nice layout.
Very nice course not long great value and friendly.
A real find in the Brecon Beacons
Played here during a short break in the Brecon Beacons.
Parkland course with some real challenges, all set within the stunning scenery of the Beacons’ National Park. A nice friendly clubhouse / bar / restaurant. Reasonable rates too.
Recommended!
Some stunning holes
Great condition course for this time of year and some great holes once you clear the first few.
Lovely Course
Enjoyed our round.
Greens in very good conditions
Fairways good, but perhaps suffering a little from the dry conditions.
Very good facilities with lovely bar and social areas.
Beautiful parkland gem
This is a thinkers course. Get out of position and you'll get penalised. Greens were very true. Scenary is just as good on the eye as the course.
Return
Excellent course , very friendly and welcoming members and staff
Builth adventure
On arrival we were welcomed by the very helpful and friendly club shop assistant, gave us some great course information and directions. On the course the front 8 holes are a little up and down but you soon forget that once you hit the back nine holes. Fun, quirky and definitely a challenge and well worth a visit. Greens were in good condition and always try to avoid the rough, long and tough to get out of. The food from the restaurant was beautiful homemade and was a great finish to a brilliant day
Really nice golf course
Pleasant experience start to finish,; warm welcome,; start on time; course in excellent condition; fast greens; course busy but pace of play was good; friendly welcoming clubhouse at the end. Covid safe.
As usual, a cracking experience
Friendly and helpful pro, interesting course with some variation, crossing Wye river and back is part of the appeal. It's been a while. Missed it, and back soon.
