Great course

1st time played Cardoc for about 20 years and course has had 3 holes changed in my opinion not for the better.

Course in great condition greens were superb.

It was very busy so a bit slow and waiting on most shots for last 5 or 6 holes but used that to take in the magnificent views of the surrounding area.

All in all would definitely recommend a round at Cradoc great course and good hospitality.

Review of cradoc

Really unimpressed by the bloke in the pro shop, was incredibly rude, didn’t turn up till 7.25 and moaned that people turn up early before a tee time expecting him to be ready. First available tee time is before then so he should get out of bed and be in earlier. Was incredibly rude to all 4 of us and put us in a bad mindset before we’d even gone out. Never met anyone so unwelcoming to a golf course.

The course itself was in good condition. Greens were the slowest I’ve ever played though. That was the only down point to the course itself.

The clubhouse was a weird set up, still had Christmas lights up and for some reason the chef was the one to bring out our food which was odd.

All in all the course was nice, the pro shop welcome was abysmal, clubhouse average.. won’t be going back. £25 a fair price for the golf.. anything more is a rip off

Cradoc golf

Friendly welcome and great facilities.

The golf range has shot tracer and there's also practice chipping and putting greens all very well maintained. The course itself was immaculate with great greens and a mix of par 3,4,5 holes, some of them blind and all surrounded by fantastic views. Unfortunately we didn't have time to use the club house but it looked a great set up.

We would highly recommend playing this course and will certainly be back for another 18 holes soon.

Brecon Holiday Golf

Scenic course with expansive Panoramic views on majority of holes and established mixed trees lining fairways. Grass not cut too short. Small greens had been recently scarified.

Really approachable and friendly staff and members. Very welcoming. Excellent value for a tee at midday.

Great views

Arrived early to play. Tom in the shop let us play on earlier. Even though I am local it’s the first time I have played. Teaching my cousin to play the game so allowed a few to play through us. Amazing views and a great course. Without a doubt the best winter course I have played. It’s not an easy course to play although it’s extremely enjoyable.

Improved Condition

Course in excellent condition, plush fairways, green greens that were running true and generally in really good condition.

One of the friendliest clubs you could wish to visit, people can’t do enough for you.

Pace of play was excellent and was let through by larger groups.

A good course layout which gets more interesting as you go along. Achievable to play to Hcp provided the ball is in play.

Look forward to my next visit.

Cradoc

Tee time available for hot deal was 12 midday however this was immediately after a junior competition. I wouldn’t mind generally but the pace of play was extremely slow. It took 2 and a half hours to get through 9 holes and I ended up calling it a day. . I is it generally the case that these junior competition had almost all the parents following the players. L- I thought I was at a pro am ! Lovely course and venue but god they need to get a move on

The Friendliest Welcome

An Englishman in Wales given the warmest of welcomes by everyone at the club.

A really quirky course with many an undulation. Uphill, downhill, doglegs both ways and generally a nice knock.

Greens were coming good and I’d expect that they will be tiptop soon.

Off course facilities good, well signed holes and a good test for any golfer.

Hope to be back soon.
