About
Willow Creek Golf & Country Club in Mount Sinai sits on Suffolk's scenic north shore. Opened in 2005, it is one of Long Island's newest golf courses but it has already established a reputation for being one of the area's most visually impressive. What makes the course stand out is the abundance of both sand and water. The number of bunkers on the golf course comes close to the triple digits and water appears on 12 holes. The lightning fast, wildly undulating greens are a challenging complement to the hazards. The layout presents a formidable test for even the best players. One of Hamlet Willow Creek's most difficult holes is the monstrous ninth, which features water on both sides of the seemingly endless fairway. With so much water, golfers almost forget about the three large bunkers that are also treacherously lurking on this hole.

Very nice round
The course was in very good condition although we had cartpath only due to recent snow, but the round played 4 hrs 10 minutes, greens played well, bunkers and water Hazzard’s challenging, but I so enjoy this course

Brutally slow day!!!
I play here couple of times a month on a Sunday and we usually play in 4.5 hours. However, today was so slow!!! Teed off at 11:30 and played last 2 holes in the dark! There were 3 groups on the tee box first 4 holes. Started to get better, but backed up again towards the 13th.
Also, the conditions of greens weren’t that good either. It wasn’t slow but very bumpy. Understandable due to so many hackers playing and not fixing ball marks or replacing divots.
This pandemic caused so many new players, it’s getting really frustrating to play now which is not Willow Creek’s fault but the rangers needs to do better job. Tee times were 10 minute intervals

November golf at its best!
This is the first time playing this course, and I have to see it was in PERFECT shape, even in November. Though the pace of play was a little slow (that's ok...everyone wanted to play golf in November!), the conditions were pristine. I highly recommend playing this course!! Thank you!
