silloge
decent, enjoyable course to play, not in the best conditions, greens are very poor, temporary green for one hole, which wasn't even a temporary green, just a hole with a flag in the fairway
A lovely course with wide and long fairways.
This was a fun course to play as really wide fairways and greens that although sodden still reasonably fast. The light rain cleared after the first few holes which was great. We left our luggage at the pro shop and had a shower before heading for a late international flight with this course only 5 mins from the airport. A great finish to two months of golfing in Ireland and Scotland.
Lovely Course
Great time, high handicap friendly with forgiving fairways
Poor condition
First time I played Sillogue for a while and forgot how bad it is. It's a shame because there are some nice holes if the course was looked after. Greens are terrible, it's like putting off a fairway. Means you cannot actually follow any line on the green. Hole markings and tee boxes are so bad, we got lost about 4 times, added about 45 mins onto the round. Generally poorly maintained, even for a public course
