Recommended for Learners

I first started to play this course in April 2014 when I took up the 'long' game. I found it to be ideal for my skill level and have almost reached my target I set for the year's end. I'd recommend this course to any golfer, but especially new players starting out in the game. Silloge has all the challenges of golf except a water feature and fairway bunker. Easy to get to by public or private transport. A driving range added would be a great asset.

This course is very open and quite flat

This course is very open and quite flat in most parts but the fact it was not that busy on a saturday morning made for a more enjoyable experience

nice/local but a bit of a let down

this course is open woodland style and suits rookies like myself, some water features could be introduced to beef up the challenge, a point of let down was young lads runnning across the course (not players) picking up balls left right and centre and then trying to sell them to golfers. This enraged our group and looks like it may be a regular thing at this course as the lads seemed to know where to be going. anyway it ruined the round to be honest, especially as we had been looking forward to a good game all week,I havent had this carry on anywhere else.

nice par three

Well maintained.greens could be a little better if people fix all there divots. With a pitch repairer.little open in places. But the index1 and index2holes are two super holes.couple of nice par3s..not bad for 15euros I got it for.but would not pay any more than 25euros.

The course is extremely well maintained . Greens and fairways excellent .

Our 3 ball really enjoyed this course as we always do . The condition of the greens and fairways were better than a lot of courses we have visited over the past couple of years . The tee boxes were moved forward a good bit but that i suppose is understandable at this time of year .
