Blainroe
Superb course. I have played before. Better signage between some holes is badly needed. 8th to 9th for example but def a lot more “next tee” pointers neeed to be more obvious!
Lovely staff. Grounds superb. Breathtaking views
Excellent Course
There's really not much to say besides, go play this course as soon a you get a chance! It's well worth playing Blainroe on a regular basis.
Just Fantastic
It’s challenging but not too difficult to play. Tests your game management and it’s really well maintained.
Brilliant Winter Course
First time playing & Ireland has been battered by rain for last 7- weeks. I could not get over how well this course has been maintained through all this. Brilliant course. Fair challenge & amazing views.
Incredible
One of the best courses I’ve played this year. A great day out for any golfer at any skill level
Bad time of the year
The course layout and scenery is lovely but we played a lot of temporary greens . These were extremely small and in really bad condition . This was made more upsetting by looking at the excellent permanent greens .
I would recommend the course but you really need to check out the condition of the course before playing
Excellent for time of year
Absolutely had a cracking game of golf with old friends ,course was in top nick for time of year ,greens were still pretty fast ,we will deffo be back next year for another reunion
Excellent
On a cold November morning the condition of the course was top notch went out at 10 o'clock on a Tuesday caught up with two elderly gentlemen by the 6th but let us straight then never looked back always a joy playing here
Highly recommended
Excellent course, greens in good condition. Amazing views especially on the back 9. Will definitely be back.
Lovely course.
Played Blainroe GC for the first time and really enjoyed it very much, weather was beautiful also and some lovely holes with amazing views particularly on the back nine. Highly recommend to all golfers I will be back to play it again in the future.
Great value midweek game
Well kept, great cliff side holes. Didn’t use the amenities
Lovely golf course.
Played Blainroe GC for the first time today and have to say it's a lovely golf course. It's really well kept with some beautiful hole layouts with dog-legs etc and some stunning views particularly on the back 9 with the 14th being a stunning hole with amazing views. Thought the two par 3's were a bit long at nearly 200 yards each but still great holes. Only negative is that their was a lot of sand on the greens which made them quite slow but condition of the entire course was excellent. Food in the bar was great and the view from the terrace overlooking the small private beach opposite was spectacular as the weather on the day was fantastic it was like playing golf in Spain it was so warm and sunny. Loved every minute of it and had a wonderful day so a big thank you to all at Blainroe GC.
Rounds out top 10 in wicklow
Great for photography
Terrible for tail ends of hurricanes
Lower end of top 10 to play in Wicklow, of which there are not much more than 10.
Tops about 3 others in the county.
Good food, better views, steep green fees at their going rate.
Hidden gem
One of the best links/parkland courses in Ireland.
Greens/Fairways excellent. Great layout inbetween holes and the scenery is amazing.
Staff in pro shop and bar also very friendly and welcoming, very friendly players on course too.
Great pint of Guinness too :)
An absolute bargain for the price my mate and I paid.
Blainroe
Wonderful course with stunning views and great conditons
Friendly fourball
Lovely course with great variety of holes. Two very tough par 3s. Stunning views. Would recommend playing it.
Beautiful Blainroe
Really good course. They have completed some upgrade work on 4 holes which aren't perfect yet but will be soon but overall a beautiful course with stunning views in the back 9. Hard test but couldn't recommend highly enough. And staff in bar/restaurant couldn't be nicer and food was excellent.
