Challenging course/great value
I find this course to be one of the more challenging courses in the area. The day I played the course it was in very good condition.....The greens were fast and challenging. .....Staff is always very friendly and helpful. If you haven't played this course yet give it a try.
Always a great place to play
Never have a bad experience when I'm at Eagles Crossing.
Undulating Greens
We have played the course on numerous occasions. The greens are some of the most challenging in the Central PA area. One of the best golf hole's can be found on #16. It is almost an island green that is 175 yards (White) for an elevated tee box. All in all I feel we always have a fun, yet challenging round at eagles crossing. We will go back again this season to see if we can improve on our play.
Eagles Crossing
Nice open course with challenging holes, well maintained and perfect greens

Course was in good condition and the greens were fast for a early season round but true.
pleasant course
It is a nice course with some unique holes. the greens were recently aerated which negatively affected putting
Another great time at this fun and challenging course
The layout is interesting, challenging and a joy to play. Most shots will be played with some slope in mind. On both your shot and your landing area. While not overly challenging, you can be punished on some stray shots. Rewarded for your miscue with a severe slope to navigate on your short game shots. A good mix of medium long to shortish holes. A small amount of water comes into play. Notably on a couple of the par threes. With small ponds needing to be carried. Both the shorter length players, like myself, and the big hitters will find the course enjoyable.
The greens are undulating with a sensible speed. Kept very playable, while allowing you to use your imagination with the slopes. Very fun to play when putting, pitching and chipping. Unless these are poor areas in your game. You could struggle.
The staff is friendly and the prices are low. I paid $7 for a hot sausage, that came with chips, a large soda and candy. Rounds are usually just as low with many "hot deals" to be found.
Excellent Value
I've been playing this course since it opened, I love the layout, the large undulating greens and the overall challenge it poses.
The course is usually in good condition, the greens usually have decent speed, approx. 8-9 on stimp meter.
The value is excellent for the layout and challenge you get.
I know a few who do not like to play the course due to it being "challenging", that's one of the main reasons I like it.
The staff is always courteous and friendly, I usually play here 6-7 times a year, and would like to play here more often.
Water is in play on 5-6 holes and fairways are mostly generous.
Nice Outing in February
Course was dry and in very good condition, considering it is the middle of February.
A very nice layout that offers a good test of a golfer's shot making ability, and overall course management.
I haven't played this course in awhile, but certainly look forward to playing it again:-)
Course was in very good condition with lack of rain
I was very pleased with the overall condition of the course. I was informed in the clubhouse that the rough was very dry but that the fairway and greens were in good shape. This was a very accurate assessment. I enjoyed the variety of holes and plan to visit this course more often in the future.
Pleasant and affordable course
Played 18 holes with a friend in the evening and we had a wonderful time on this course. Tee off areas needed work but greens and fairways were in good condition. Played in 2.5 hours and we only ran into one other 2some. Lots of wildlife seen too, including a buck and a grey fox.
Fun course
Course is in great shape and fairways are pretty wide open so the bombers will like it. Play looks like it could be slow as there was lots of people (we were 1st out). Greens hard to read - looks like breaks but then nothing.
greens have character
good all around course. sloping/tiered greens lots of fun.
many open fairways. after 4 holes, older electric cart changed out for one with more power, still older model and was noticeably slow on uphill grades. also, tried one that was sitting there completely dead.
Average course - poor staff
After we finished #18 tied we thought we’d play an additional hole to break the tie. Somebody from the pro shop met us on the fairway to ask what we were doing. We explained and thought there wasn’t a problem. #18 leads back to the clubhouse and because we were still tied we thought we’d play it in. Same guy came out, accused me of lying and told us to pick up our balls. The course was empty - we didn’t jump in front of anyone. One of my playing partners is my son-in-law who is a US Marine and has just returned from Iraq. I asked the guy to give him a little break but he rudely refused. That will be the final time I play that course. By the number of cars I saw in the parking lot Eagles Crossing will be going out of business soon anyway.
Could be in better shape
Very dry and weedy on some areas of the course
Nice layout. Tough greens.
I enjoy playing this course. Large variety of hole layouts--doglegs, uphill, downhill, carries, narrow. All the greens are tough--lots of undulations! The course has always been in good condition each time we paly there. The staff has always been very friendly. Not one complaint.
Great time!
Fun and challenging course! Staff are friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. Course was in good shape. No pushing, a really fun day. I may have left a ball or two in the water, but I'll definitely go back!
This course is still one of my favorite courses in the area.
The course played tough today as always. Greens were fast. Spring weather hasn't truly started yet and you could see it through out the course. But all in all it was just nice to get out and play. This course is truly a tough course to play. Highly recommend it to play.
Nice Pace
My wife and I had a 12 noon tee time during the week.
Played in 3 & 1/2 hours, No one pushing us.
Had a great time.
PERFECT
Went for first time with friend. We both loved every bit of this course, and kept telling each other as much. Will be back again and again. Great deal on golf now and a great course. One of if not the top course we played this season. Keep up the great work, will see you soon.
