Oaks at Ft. Walton Beach Golf Club

Peter nice for a city course. Greens needed cutting seemed a little fuzzy. Lots of shoe marks from careless golfers dragging feet.

Played the Pines course. They were aerating the Oaks course. This is a standard muni course that will do in a pinch. Couple of memorable holes but otherwise just a flat track in fair condition. Came here because most other courses in Destin Sandestin were aerating. Probably wont return.

Green were a little slow, but overall a great course.

I will be back on my next trip to Destin!!

The course had recently been punched and the greens sanded making it less than favorable.

The greens are in great shape, fairway playing good. Spend your money here good place to play.

Course is great, greens are nice. However when you get stuck behind people who are also stuck behind a group of 8 it is almost impossible to finish unless you expect to be there for 6 hours…. Other than that great course.

Great course for warmup round to play the top area courses! Was in very good condition from tees to fairways to greens!

The only negative would be that there are zero memorable holes or even remotely pretty holes, just a normal muni but in really good condition!

Would play again or maybe try the Pines course.

Practice here B4 your tee times at Regatta Bay, Emerald Bay or San Destin.

Nice club house with a bar and restaurant.

Every few months we get the opportunity to travel from Missouri to Florida. I look forward to golfing at the Pines or Oaks Atleast 1 time each while there. Beautiful courses and the staff is very friendly. Best place to golf in the area.

The course was nice and well kept, however I

only had the opportunity to play 4 holes.

We were rained out. This was a hot deal. I was

trying to get through to Golf Now to get a

refund, I tried twice to get through, but after

waiting a couple hours on the phone each time

I gave up. I am disappointed with their

service and will think twice about using them

again.

I played (7) holes, then it started raining and had to call it a day; but will definitely go back.

Was not reimbursed for rain out was told to go through golf now. Tried calling golf now and was put on hold for over two hours. Have not been able to contact Golf Now.

I have played throughout the country and rate this course excellent. Interesting it is a muni course. Hats off to Ft. Walton and its golf staff. I currently live in Destin and this is now my go to course. Thank you.

Simple straightforward layout. No surprises with the information they give you at the start of the round. Conditions good for a public course that gets a lot of play

First of the year, the course was in terrible shape. Crew has worked diligently on the greens, and fairways are filling it. Only knock, greens are still inconsistent (speed wise) Otherwise, a pretty good layout!
