Favorite Course in the Panhandle
Great layout and great conditions! We played exactly 14 days post aerification and outside of aesthetics, the greens rolled true. Conditions from tee to green were 10 out of 10! Ultimately from my experience, you either pay for views or quality conditions in this area, with a trade off depending on which you choose. If you want a solid golf course, this is your place!
Poor conditions
First time playing this course. Greens were freshly plugged so I can’t speak to their normal quality. I was told they normally have good greens but not when we were there. Overall course conditions were definitely lacking. Lots of thin and barespots on tee boxes and fairways. Every hole seemed to be a dogleg of some kind. Pretty tight course for driver. Only way I would come back is if the conditions improved. Would probably spend my money elsewhere though if I’m being honest. Not my cup of tea. Regatta bay, Raven, Kelly are much better options.
Love Indian
My son and I try to play Indian every year we come down to Destin. I love the character of the course. It is not the most lush course in Destin but I believe it has the most character. This year my cousin came with us to play and he enjoyed it.
Punched greens played awesome !
One of my favorite courses in the area on vacation.
I wish they gave a smidge of a discount for aeration. Other than that it is well worth the money
Green fees were too pricey for their current conditions
Greens were aerified, very bumpy. Fairways were lacking in grass, needing more watering.
Course needs to use full disclosure when the aerate the course.
Paid $127 per person on golf now. The site did say that the greens were aerated when booked. When we showed up a few days later we were told only one nine is open, aeration was currently being performed today and we had to play that nine twice. Fact is the greens were being aerated now, the fairway, which was mostly crab grass and a lot of bare spots were recently aerated. Very unenjoyable round of golf. Played this course in previous years, always enjoyed it. Extremely disappointed!
Nice old fashioned course.
Good alternative to the resort courses. Nice staff, relatively short, decent condition.

Challenging course
I enjoyed the course and recommend it to anyone in the Destin area. Greens rolled true and has lots of undulation and contours to challenge anyone. Lots of tight holes lined with pine trees and plenty of bunkers to stay away from. Considering how dry it has been in the area, I was impressed with the conditions and the staff at the facility.
