The Oaks is in mint condition! The Oaks is Better than the courses in Destin! The friendliest pro shop employees! As well as the folks in the restaurant! The maintenance folks were very courteous and i saw the beverage cart girl frequently! I totally enjoy coming to this course!

The greens are in the transitional stage right now due to the aeration and sanding. Tis the season, but, they are plush, green, and full. It won't take long, another week maybe, to be back to normal. I am not noticing any weeds on the greens or fairways. Greens keeper and staff are doing a wonderful job and have much improved the course over the past 3 years. I would like to see the greens cut just a couple of millimeters shorter to make them a little faster on the putts.
