Fanastic greens
Given that I played at the end of October, the course was in great condition with true greens. Would recommend to anyone. Only thing lacking was a range to warm up apart from two practice net.
like this course. Good test
It's a long course that makes you place the ball. Need to think about where you need to put the ball. Really like this course
Well worth a visit
Really enjoyed my round here. Course is long, but fair. Some really nice holes that will challenge the best players.
The course was in excellent condition throughout. The greens are a real challenge but they are in great shape and it's not long before you get the hang of them.
First visit
Enjoyable round played off green markers course still quite long if your not driving the ball well greens fairways excellent condition certainly would visit again.
Great Course, nice people.
I paired up with some very nice people who knew the course and made it a very enjoyable experience.
This course has a fantastic layout
Course has a fantastic layout, some holes the higher handicap golfer would struggle with a bail out shot as there really isn't one.
Shaping the ball from the tee a must on some of the holes but good drives are rewarded with mid to short irons into the greens.
Although the greens are big with plenty of slope and require your concentration .
Meath Magic
Very well maintained course. Sandy bunkers, lush fairways and rolling greens. No bad holes on this course. Greens are well defended. It's on my re-visit list. Back 9 take in mature parkland features and some great challenges across water. Only gripe would be, for the visitor a course map on the scorecard would be useful.
Very interesting and well maintained parkland course
Beautiful parkland course attached to a luxurious spa hotel, which offers delicious coffee and scones before tee off and delicious food at the 19th hole. There are several challenging dog-leg holes which require an accurate tee shot to set up the shot to the green. Water also features at several holes on the course.
Excellent course within easy reach of Dublin
The course is very nicely maintained, has several feature holes and presents a reasonable challenge for golfers of all standards.
top quality
Do your stretches this course plays long ! but it is thouroughly enjoyable excellent parkland style course with a few water hazards and top quality challenging greens. once you grasp their pace they are lovely to play on. I would have liked a course map on the score card for my first outing though I generally go opposite to where I aim anyway. got a fantastic deal from golfnow.ie and saved a bunch of cash, course reminded me a little of Carton house in places. very enjoyable (with the discount)
good greens and fairways with mature woodland and water hazards
Very well maintained course with attentive staff in the pro shop. Play at a good pace and though busy no feeling of being crowded or rushed, Recent drainage work completed and will take a little time to settle but causes no inconvenience. A most pleasurable experience to be repeated
Fantastic course. Interesting and challenging holes.
Wonderful course. Very well maintained. Challenging holes but extremely enjoyable and interesting. Very friendly and welcoming staff.
Overpriced, I got it cheap @Euro 30 Wouldn't pay anymore
The course is pretty well maintained and challenging enough, it was a hot day when we played and we were held up after playing the 3rd hole for the remainder of the round so needless to say it was tiring waiting. Slow 4 ball players held us all up and this turned out to be a back log from hole 10 onwards, we were a two ball, there was a two ball behind us so we had to join up to delay the wait slightly and this didn't work. No rangers on course to help with matters. Overall we were disappointed and won't be returning any time soon.
Enjoyed the challange and will definately play it again
Played today for the first time. Really enjoyed the course and look forward to the next time. Hopefully that will be soon.
was great course
i have played this course on numerous occasions with my jobs society and with family and friends and have never been disappointed but today it was in pristine condition even with the drainage work that is been done at the moment ground staff should be proud of themselves
Excellent challenge off the back tees
First time to play the course. Had heard good reports and had to test it out for ourselves and we were not disappointed. However, we probably got the best day of the year so far to play. Found the rough very difficult to play out of. Was it the very warm spell of weather we were having and the sudden growth that had it that long? Looking forward to playing Knightsbrook again very soon.
exellent quality
one of the nicest courses ive played in years . well worth a visit .
Well designed course..,,
Plenty to expect in every hole, the greens are well mentained. Just in case bring extra balls you may need it on the 18th hole.
Also make sure that you get a course map as its not printed on the score card, some green are blind approach......
The course has a great variety of holes .
Excellent value for money on GolfNow.ie .
On a couple of holes , the 17th in particular , the stream running across the fairway is not visible until you get very close to it . It is not too bad when you have played the course a few times but I still think the yellow markings could be made a little more visible
