Enjoyed my round at Knightsbrook yesterday with my good friend.
Nice weather with no rain! Always helps!
Looks like greens were pole-forked recently as there was still some evidence remaining. Needs some rain to complete the task but this is dependent on mother nature! Didn't put us off our game though!
Fortunate to have a slot earlier than planned and weren't under pressure which was nice and allowed us to enjoy the round. No issue with changing time. Staff in pro-shop were pleasant and polite.
My deal included free trollies but this wasnt offered by assistant - again it wasn't a problem for us as both of us haf electric trollies and preferred to use them. Would have been nice to be offered though if he has read the paperwork properly - small item but the devil is in the detail!
Fairways were firm and the grass tight - probably gained a few extra yards as a result!
Overall a good day out in Trim!
Super value for money, good test but fair
Course in excellent condition considering the weather, challenging but fair to all golfers
Needs attention
They are working on the drainage at the moment but i feel that's
not going to be enough.
Very wet condition considering i played on another course not to far away and the difference is unbelievable
other wise staff sound.
A long challenging course with an excellent closing stretch of holes
Enjoyed the course which was quite long and challenging. I played it from the white markers which meant it played about 6,700 yards in cold windy April air (had to do for my son who is a real golfer?). Greens were sanded and pole forked so didn't see the course at its best but imagine that during the summer the greens will be quick. 2nd 9 is the better and tougher of the two with a great closing stretch from 13 onwards. All in all a most enjoyable day. Food in bar was good afterwards.
Very challenging
We really enjoyed this course and it was outstanding value for money at the reduced rate we payed. Decided to play off the white tees but on reflection it would have been better to play off the more advanced green tees. Would be a challenge even for single handicap golfers. The locker room and bar/restaurant facilities are second to none. Recommended!
