A fun course
We received a very friendly welcome in the Pro Shop when checking in. We were told the course was pretty quiet, which was great for us.
The course was in great condition, fairways were excellently maintained. Greens were nice, slightly slower than we were accustomed to, but in very good condition.
The course offers some nice challenges but is quite forgiving for a wide array of skill levels. However, many of the holes are quite similar to each other. That said, the par 3s are very memorable and, although not very long, would be very difficult if you miss in the wrong spot.
Overall a positive experience, and even though I played horribly, the course was still enjoyable. Would definitely play again.

Nice cheap course, pace of play was slow due to slow players but not the courses fault. Recommend for beginner golfers
Very nice course good course for beginners. Very well kept. The only part of course that could improve are sandtraps
Lovely easy walking course
This is the second time I have played this course and I believe it gets better each time, very friendly staff, clean facilities, however, kitchen and bar was closed on this visit.
Everyone who was waiting to play or even in the car park were very friendly and talkative.

Fantastic weather,great course & finished off with an ice cold 🍺......doesn't get much better
Moate GC - A Great golf course
Moate GC is a fabulous golf course, friendly staff & great value, it was in great condition on the day I played, a fine sunny day, friendly staff at golf shop and volunteer on golf course doing some painting / maintenance,,,well worth a visit
Really good course
We enjoyed this course very much.
The club house/pro shop was closed when we played which was fine, but we had no score card no big deal but felt the tee offs could be sign posted a little bit better for visitors.
Other than that thank you Moate golf club for a very enjoyable evening.
