Moate Golf Club

The course is tight, with each hole fairly challenging. The problem was the greens were like an astro turf. Covered in sand and pricked with air holes so bad, that the ball just never rolled. It bobbled its way along.

Behind us were a group of lads in football training clothes with zero etiquette of when to play a shot. It made the place feel nothing more than a long pitch and putt.

This should have been rectified at the clubhouse.

Its a nice enough course after you get past the first 3 holes, but I probably wont return in a hurry

The course we played today was in excellent condition for this time of year, The greens were in great order and a fantastic roll to the ball and no disease in the greens. The staff are very friendly and acomadation, food in the bar was excellent and very reasonable. Overall the course is very easy to get around and is good for seniors, I would recommend visitors to try this golf Course
