The Tubac Golf Resort sits along the banks of the Santa Cruz River, providing a lush landscape of mature trees and cottonwood groves. The Anza/Rancho golf course is one of three different 18-hole combinations at the resort, which features 27 holes in total. The Anza's par-3 ninth hole has an island green reminiscent of the 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass. The Rancho nine's fourth hole is known for being in the Kevin Costner golf movie "Tin Cup." It is also home to what has been nicknamed the "Tubac Triangle," a challenging set of holes that includes the longest par 3, par 4, and par 5 at the resort. The eighth hole is part of this set; at 651 yards it is even longer than some of the par 5s on the PGA Tour.

Amazing Staff
Aside from the very long Par 5 on Rancho, I love this course. Even as the winter rye is making way for the summer grass, the course is well maintained and the greens are very sticky for being in an arid climate.
The Otero 9 plays quite a bit faster than the Ranch 9.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
The course conditions were okay. Bunkers are not great.

Great course! Hope to play it again next year.
Only problem we had was we were behind three older gentlemen, that when we went to the second 9, should have let us play thru. We skipped a oar 5 just to get around them.

Everything was great. Course is in excellent condition but was disappointed they let the members / locals play a fivesome in front of us at 9:30 in the morning. Understand this happens, but usually in the afternoons - so pace of play was slow
