Tubac Golf Resort - Anza/Rancho
About
The Tubac Golf Resort sits along the banks of the Santa Cruz River, providing a lush landscape of mature trees and cottonwood groves. The Anza/Rancho golf course is one of three different 18-hole combinations at the resort, which features 27 holes in total. The Anza's par-3 ninth hole has an island green reminiscent of the 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass. The Rancho nine's fourth hole is known for being in the Kevin Costner golf movie "Tin Cup." It is also home to what has been nicknamed the "Tubac Triangle," a challenging set of holes that includes the longest par 3, par 4, and par 5 at the resort. The eighth hole is part of this set; at 651 yards it is even longer than some of the par 5s on the PGA Tour.

Nice
So nice !!. We enjoyed the deer and the cows.
The trees the fairways were in good shape.
First time at Tubac
I really like the Otero course, the Ranch was more challenging.
Fantastic coueze, friendly starters/staff
Anyone who has played a while knows the starters at any guven course can be surly/cranky, & my pace of play is quick, yet i still see it. Here, they were all evry kind and helpful when i wasn't sure which 9 to play next. The course is awesome for the price and the club/resort area is out of a movie cool and beautiful. I'd play it more if it weren't 3 hours away.
Great course
We had a great time!! We would like to go back again in late spring to see the true beauty of the course, overall the course conditions were great, can't wait to go back!!
beautiful course
We had a great time and enjoyed the beauty of the course, we will definitely return for another round!
Poor signage
This course is over rated. They desperately need GPS… and who wants a steer on the fairway?
BEAUTIFUL SATURDAY IN TUBAC
Second time playing here. Played the Rancho and Otero courses. Rancho was beautiful, Otero more in the neighborhood and houses but still nice.
Course is in excellent shape. Fairways and Greens very well maintained. My buddies and I will stay at the resort next time and play two days. Worth the drive from Tucson; the scenery and serenity is worth it for us.
Beautiful
Tee boxes were good, fairways were great, greens rolled true, watch out for pin placement, they can be tricky at times, if you know the course you know where to land them on the greens. If you play the rancho 9, don't play the tips for a decent handicap. Holes 6, 7, and 8 are super long with a 270 yard par 3. Not realistic. Other than that, awesome course. 3.6 handicap.
