Tubac Golf Resort - Anza/Rancho

Great course, famous for Tin Cup being filmed here. The Rancho 9 is especially lovely, along the Santa Cruz river, Deer in the woods on #7, Cattle grazing along the left side of the fairway on #9. Played with my brother-in-law, I'm visiting from PA, he and his wife from CA.

A dry winter in the valley has left its mark on the course. But, the staff has made the best of it and the greens were in remarkable condition for this time of the season. The history of the ranch lives up to the popularity it has earned. Hard to believe that it’s 25 years since the movie. This experience is worthy of sharing and repeat.

The course was in excellent condition. One of the best courses I’ve played this winter when it comes to good grass! Most of the courses in Tucson area have sparse and thin grass. The fairways were excellent! Greens were in very good condition,

Really enjoyed my round here today. Conditions are 8/10. Layout is 9/10. Amenities are 9/10. Great overall experience. The course is very unique and diverse. Every hole presents a new challenge. The property is absolutely stunning. Will be back to play.

Tee boxes are level, fairways are lush and the greens are fast. Fringe was a little long and your might get a bounce to green if shot is short but probably not. Driver friendly course. We are mid to high handicap golfers but I only lost 1 ball. We played Otero/Rancho Blue/white combo tees.

Love the Golf Couse. The Animals around the club the greens are amazing. I recomend it 100%

All good to say except they charge a little too much to play.

It had been 2 years since I was able to play Tubac while I was in town. Always happy to visit and play it. Truly a great course with fair challenges throughout. Staff always friendly as usual.

I try to hit Tubac every time I'm in the area and am sad when I can't get on.

first time playing Tubac. Drove from Tucson. Frost delay of 30 minutes and it was a chilly morning. After getting started we moved quickly. The aprons around the greens are a little rough but it is winter. The fairways were in good condition and the greens were unbelievably fast. Interesting layout with plenty of tress, bunkers and water. It doesn’t feel like a desert course, it feels more lush. Overall a very fun day of golf. I would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed our round but found the lack of neither a ball washer on the cart or on the tees to be most annoying, especially with ample watering and occasional muddy conditions. Also it would be helpful to first-time guests to have better signage when completing the 9th hole on the Otero course and trying to find the first tee on the Rancho course. On the positive side, the starters and cart assistants were most helpful and friendly.

The pace of play on the 14th was very very slow with people that did not seem to care and no Marshall. The greens would not hold any pitch or chip shots only full shots into the green and very fast. I like the fast greens but they just did not play like traditional greens And you were left with a lot of 20 footers.
