Absolutely fantastic course, incredible grounds, wonderful staff

Great day for a game of golf. The sun was shinning. Our tee off time was 2.36pm. A great time as we assumed most of the locals would be finished or near finished. We teed off with only a two ball in front, but when we got to the 3rd, that two ball had become a fourball. Don't know where the extra two came from. From the third to the 18th, we were held up on the tee boxes, fairways and greens. The four lads obviously had no rear view mirrors or didn't understand golf etiquette. And then, the three ball behind started dropping balls right down behind us, obviously annoyed at the slow pace of play. But other than that it was a great day to be out, the course was in fine condition, the staff in shop were very nice but the fourball did sour our enjoyment just a little. We will be back but will play, maybe a little later in the afternoon or maybe a week day.

12 holes open but still great quality would love more holes open but very enjoyable round

Fast efficient friendly young man in office. Another couple of golfers joined our tee time and this worked out perfectly as all in front were fourballs. Course was in perfect condition, fast greens and well filled bunkers. Play was slow on a couple of occasions, as some young golfers were practising for a National Competition the following day, but this wouldn't be the norm. We will be back.

First time on this course, we were after playing the first 2 holes, and had teed off on hole 3 when the male captain of the club caused a fuss. The attitude and respect I got off the male club captain was a disgrace, privileged old man that had a power trip, wouldn’t let me play and wanted me kicked off the course for wearing a jersey, then when I put on a jumper over the jersey he still wasn’t happy, we were there for a nice day out and it was ruined by power going to someone’s head. Staff working there couldn’t believe what was happening when I went to get a refund and the staff were so accommodating in giving me a refund and offered a free round next time, but don’t think I’ll be returning

This was an unexpected surprise ! Great course and we had never been before. Challenging and close to home and we only went because of a Golf Now email offer suggesting it. Great day out, thanks!
