Challenging course for a begiiner
The 1st nine holes were pretty good for a beginner but the back 9 was quite challenging and frustrating for a beginner. The back 9 had a lot of water and somewhat narrow fairways. The fairways were in fair to good condition and the greens were in very good condition.
Great Golf Now Deal At $25!
Course better than I had expected. Front has 3 par 5's and 3 par 3's and is about 500 yards longer than the par 34 back. Some holes target golf where you can't hit driver. Greens very good and fairways OK. Did not see a marshall or cart girl but price for January golf in Florida cannot be beat.
good golf course
i have played over 100 times and will play meny more times
great golf day!
Great golf day, low prices, fast greens great golf course, challenging, I will go back there and play for $30 again
fun layout
We have enjoyed playing this course on a weekday morning for a good price. It is good course with some target challenges.
Being new to the area I was unaware of their tipping policy and my husband got a rude comment by the cart guy, which made us very uncomfortable to return.
I would have been nice to have been "educated" rather than snarked at.
Had course all by ourselves
Course was in great condition & dry (with all the rain we been having). Greens were in great condition & challenging pin placement on some greens! Cozy course & will play again
Kudos for Heritage
Very nice course in great condition. Staff was very friendly and helpful too.
heritage ridge
played 27 holes, 18 with a couple I paired up with , and the front 9 again alone. always enjoy the course, staff is friendly, layout is fun and the greens roll very well. the par 3,s vary in length, and have some elevation changes as well. there are a couple of short par 4,s that require course management off the tee, but offer good birdie opportunities as well !!
ovearll a good value and a satisfying round of Golf to be had at heritage ridge.
loved the layout
I really enjoyed the golf course and the greens were still a little bumpy but the speed was good and another week they will be very good. The staff was pleasant helpful and I recommend this course even though it appears short it is challenging for all levels of golfers.
A walk in a park
the course is part of a 55 complex. Is in good condition and is suitable for the old and young but not challenging for the better player
Just Okay.
Course conditioning is just fair. It's a short course with a good layout so it's fun to play but compared to other area courses it could use some attention to details. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.
Nice greens
The new greens are great but the fairways and rough need a lot of work to make this a higher caliber course. Almost all lies are very tight, barely any grass.
Great greens
Super greens
Tee boxes are ok
Pace of play was bad
No ranger
Good layout
challenging course. The fairways are a bit
thin but playable. Greens are in great shape
and roll true. Long par 3's. Fun to play.
Heritage Ridge Golf course
After having played there many times, I am quite comfortable with this course. The fairways are subpar but the greens and surrounding areas are excellent. The layout of each hole is also excellent. The course is quite challenging, depending upon which tee you choose. Especially some of the longer par 3's. Course management, in playing this course is important, you can find trouble quickly with an errant shot. The greens are very nicely kept, and depending on conditions, can be tricky. Some holes are hard to approach with a chip and bounce, as sometimes it's very wet around the greens. Also very hard to hold some greens as they are hard surfaced. They need a good aeration to soften them up a bit in summer. If they spent some coin on the fairways, it would be hard to get a reservation on this golf course.
Food is good and bag guys great! People are friendly too, I've never met a rude golfer here!
Have fun, ciao!
We enjoyed
We played this course the week before and enjoyed it enough to play it again the following week.
Will play it again in the near future.
Course is very playable but...
I play this course when prices are inline with course conditions. If over $35, it's over-priced Jan-Mar for the quality of fairways compared to other area courses. Greens are getting better. Staff friendliness is "guarded" - a reflection coming from the top it seems and, a bit tense to my liking when relaxation is vital. But, once on the course, you'll enjoy the playability. Not a difficult course overall but each side has potential blow-up holes for mid-to-high handicappers. If you are a 15 or less, you'll find this course fairly easy. If you are over 25 handicap, you'll be challenged by #2, 8, and 9 on the front --- And, #10, 16, and 18 on the back. The driving range is not located at the course, you have to unload/re-load clubs at the range and then drive to the course. If the attendant is retrieving balls, you can't get change for the token machine and so, allow time for this eventuality if you want to warm up. It has happened a couple times. Don't unload clubs until you have a bucket of ball ( if you're wise ). Range turf is mostly sand/close cut sprigs. It's $5 for a bucket of about 50 plus/minus.
this course is like home for me
from the minute the super courteous cartguys take your bag you know you're in for a special treat. This course is like an open faced roast beef sandwich and mashed potatoes like mom used to make,it's just strait forward simple and enjoyable, ever simce they brought in a fella named Mark the place has been on an upward swing. His commitment to quality and his passion for the course really show.
Excellent course with extremely fast greens
Nice course in excellent condition. Greens were much faster than other courses in area. Overall a good value but not any better than come city/county courses in area.
