Deer Valley Golf Course in Hummelstown boasts one of the most affordable rounds you'll find in the Hershey/Harrisburg area. Since opening in 2005, more than 850 trees have been added and it has matured into a course favored by both visitors and locals. The layout features large, elevated greens and massive multi-tiered tees. From the golf course's peaks, the views stretch all the way to Hershey and the Blue Mountains. The winding layout twists and turns, doglegging left and right. It's a challenging layout round despite the absence of sand bunkers. There is however, thick rough and a number of grass bunkers to watch out for. Water only makes a brief appearance. Deer Valley Golf Course isn't overly challenging but for a fun and fair test, it's an affordable option that also offers some beautiful scenery.

Friendly staff but slow pace of play
Friendly staff, but the course was not in good shape. Greens were in bad shape. Slow pace of play. 3 some sharing 2 sets of clubs.
Ok course if you don’t have anywhere to go to.
Always nice
A chilly day so course was not crowded. Pro shop attendant was Pleasant and courteous. Always happy to play at Deer Valley., Looking forward to Spring!

Great Course
First time playing this course and it was great. Very affordable and in great shape. Many of us in the group said this was our favorite course we played this year.
Perfect weather day
Course was in good shape, the only downfall was it seemed like they let people off hole 10 in front of us which slowed things down a bit. But the weather was perfect so not a big deal, I'm sure people wanted one last crack at 9 holes before it turned cold.

Highly recommend playing Deer Valley. Course was playable for all levels of golfers. Greens were in very good condition. Wish they would have been slightly faster.
Local favorite!
Bills brought this course a long way in the past five-six years. Even after two BUSY years, end of season fairways are in great shape. the public course crowd will find a nice playable course.
