Deer Valley Golf Course in Hummelstown boasts one of the most affordable rounds you'll find in the Hershey/Harrisburg area. Since opening in 2005, more than 850 trees have been added and it has matured into a course favored by both visitors and locals. The layout features large, elevated greens and massive multi-tiered tees. From the golf course's peaks, the views stretch all the way to Hershey and the Blue Mountains. The winding layout twists and turns, doglegging left and right. It's a challenging layout round despite the absence of sand bunkers. There is however, thick rough and a number of grass bunkers to watch out for. Water only makes a brief appearance. Deer Valley Golf Course isn't overly challenging but for a fun and fair test, it's an affordable option that also offers some beautiful scenery.

Beautiful shape!
Played Deer Valley and everything was great from the course to the staff. Good challenge!
Don't book on golf now
I booked a foursome hot deal for $31 per player and was charged $40 each at the course. Showed booking and was told that was to walk. Specifically hot deal was with cart at $40 but that wasn't honored. Won't be going back. Way better courses for less out there.

The Perfect First Game Of The Summer
Played with one other buddy of mine for my first game of the summer and LOVED the course. Clean fairways, well-maintained greens, and friendly staff/players. Never knew such a nice and affordable course was in my backyard and I plan to go back.

Great Round
Course was in great condition. Pace of play was a little slow, but the course was packed and the rangers did a great job of keeping everything moving. The course is challenging with the dog legs, challenging par 3's and some blind shots. On course OB adds interesting challenge for those errant shots. Would highly recommend this course. Had fun and will be back.
