Deer Valley Golf Course

Played with one other buddy of mine for my first game of the summer and LOVED the course. Clean fairways, well-maintained greens, and friendly staff/players. Never knew such a nice and affordable course was in my backyard and I plan to go back.

Nice course, liked the layout and was well taken care of.

It’s a nice layout where you can score if you keep it in play.

Course was in great condition. Pace of play was a little slow, but the course was packed and the rangers did a great job of keeping everything moving. The course is challenging with the dog legs, challenging par 3's and some blind shots. On course OB adds interesting challenge for those errant shots. Would highly recommend this course. Had fun and will be back.

While staying at the Hershey Thousand Trails decided to check out a local golf course. and came upon Deer Valley.. What a nice track.. very lush green well manicured course. THe green of bent grass were in good condition..(where I come from NC most courses are not Mini Verda Championship bermuda grass) so being able to put of them was a delight.

Playing during COVID was intresting as there was foam in the cup to keep ball up near top for easy remove with out taking the flag out.

The manager was on course as well doing stuff to keep it in top notch condition.

Going to be heading back later this week to play again we liked it that much.

Course was in good condition. Some greens were hard but in good shape. Staff is always accommodating.

Used to get cart included with Golfnow; what happened that all rounds are walking now!?

Did what they have to do to open. My only complaint is for the app. I paid for cart rental but the golf course had it as walking. The confirmation on my phone didn’t say walking or riding. I paid the extra $10 without argument. The staff had enough to deal with without me throwing a fit. It would be nice if the confirmation shows walking or riding

Neat course, good mix of Par 3’s, 4’s, & 5’s. Greens are challenging, but not impossible. Owner was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Bill and his dog are both excellent! The staff is friendly and they all try to be helpful.

No sand on the course helps scoring and pace of play. I went out solo today and was not held up at all which is always great to do a sub 3 hour round but do not expect that as the good weather days become more numerous.

The greens there are crazy slow making it hard to adjust to playing elsewhere if you play here with any frequency. The course drains well overall. They do a good job with fairways, tee boxes and greens especially considering how value conscious their core customer is. The greens rolled a little better after Bill either cut or rolled them on the back nine ahead of me.

Barring imbalanced weather, their turf should be in very good shape as they have really worked hard to take advantage of the opportunities of a more mild winter.
