About
Coyote Preserve Golf Club in Fenton is one of the only courses in the area designed by Arnold Palmer. The course has a hilly terrain that provides plenty of elevation changes a well as stunning views. Tumbling across deep ravines and native wetlands, the layout requires many carries over dramatic depressions and water hazards but many are seemingly intimidating but actually quite reasonable. Massive, finely sculpted bunkers strategically frame the greensides of many holes. While some of them are manageable, others are deep and sod-faced. The tricky hazards in conjunction with the dramatic elevations demand both accuracy and creative shot-making. The golf course has a memorable finish with a par-5, risk-reward hole. There is ample room off the tee on this downhill, dogleg left hole and it presents a few different options for the second shot. With some thought, scoring par is definitely a possibility.

Great track
Nice day. pretty windy but really enjoyed the day. Greens were great. Couple of bunkers needed some work but otherwise in good shape.
Great course, great conditions, slow round
Love the course, but didn’t expect a 4;45 round with a Saturday 8:00 am tee time.

Beautiful Course
Beautiful course and challenging but not punishing or taking any of the fun out of it. Awesome spot.
Hard but fun
Haven’t played the Yote in a few years. It’s as challenging as I remember it and also as beautiful. The course is in great shape overall. My only complaint is the number of greens with a large number of poorly fixed ball marks.
Great conditions, fun course
Great layout with plenty of elevation changes, blind shots, and risk/reward holes. Pace of play was good for a Sunday. Greens were in pretty good condition, and other than some standing water the tees and fairways were fine. Bunkers were wet and heavy. 5/5 will play again.
Challenging
Beautiful course with challenging greens. Wonderful staff! Not in great shape, especially bunkers.
Make every shot count
Challenging course from the blues. Bunkers are strategically place. Greens are large and multi-tiered making approach shots very important. Course is well designed to challenge each shot and nearly all mishits have a cost. Nice golf course.
Bring your game!
Could you some cosmetic upgrades on the cart paths and tee boxes. But the layout makes you think. I like it!
