Not bad for the money but…
We went on a beautiful Saturday with expectation that the course would be full. But, Holy Cow, it was slam packed. We teed off about 15-20 min late because of the back up (9:50 scheduled start). We ended waiting for nearly every shot en route to a 5.5 he round. Pretty not awesome.
I’ve played here several times and haven’t encountered this kind of poor tee time management before so I’ll chalk it up as a one-off, but…
The course, with exception of a couple weird holes, is a fine setup. Medium on the difficulty scale for a mid-capper like me (~ 13). Staff is super friendly. There is a go-cart racetrack right door so if the races are on you’ll be hearing it all day long.
Horrible greens
The amount of money ($45.00) could’ve been used on a better course but no other courses had a 10:30am available tee time. The greens were awful as many of them looked burnt and had no grass on certain spots. There were “bunkers” but no sand in them. The course needs a ton of work done to it and maybe it would be worth $45.
Overall the course was in good shape even after receiving rain the night before and the morning before the round. The greens however. Had a lot bare spots on most of them..
Don't waste your money
By-far the rudest ownership I've ever encountered. Worst course conditions in the tristate, hands down.
Needs work
Pace of play was very, very slow. The grass was not cut on the fairways or the greens and several of the greens had bad patches of missing grass & clumps of weeds along the edges. We were surprised at the poor condition of the course.
Great course layout. Very friendly staff. Hole 15 needs some markers to tell you where to go after your drive. The only bad thing is there is no sand traps!
7/10
Tees and select greens could use some love (tees needed a mow and greens had some dead spots/oil stains at a few holes). Unfortunate that several bunkers were overgrown and left for grass, pretty good course.
One of the worst courses I’ve seen
This course, though very expensive, Is in pretty bad shape. Greens all run at a different pace and some of the tee boxes look like roughs. I would avoid, definitely won’t be back
Patchy Greens
The fairways and tee boxes are in decent shape. The greens, however, need some serious work. Large patches of dead grass and "potholes". Also nobody seems to repair their ball marks. A well lined up putt does not mean it will go in.
Needs Better Signage
It is very easy to get turned around or not know how to get to the next hole. There needs to be more signs. There is no one enforcing pace of play so we got backed up significantly. Course was really dry but not unplayable. I feel like if the price was reduced about $10 then this would be a budget friendly deal and worth it if you are just looking to get out. If you are looking for an experience or for a decent course, this would be a pass.
Nice course for the money
1st time playing here. Overall I was pretty impressed by the course shape and design. Fairways and greens were in decent condition for early July.
Cart paths need a lot of work and some of the layout is a bit wonky. There are a few former bunkers that they are growing out that really need to b cleaned up.
Paid $36 for 18 on the Friday before 4th of July. Which I think is amazing.deal.
