Legendary Run Golf Club
About
Golf architect Arthur Hills designed the Legendary Run, an affordable facility that offers country club-caliber golf in spic-and-span surroundings and with what management calls "the friendliest service in the world." Scottish links golf courses inspired the front nine of the golf course, which sits on 200 acres of land and features six lakes, and holes are named accordingly: Troon, St. Andrews and Turnberry, for some examples. It's a different story on the back nine, which weaves through woods and was influenced by holes closer to home, such as those found at Augusta, Winged Foot and Shinnecock.
Book two weeks in advance to ensure you get on for a round on the Legendary Run golf course, and leave your metal spikes at home - there's no reason to worry, as, conditions permitting, you can take your golf cart off the path if necessary. A far cry from Cincinnati's recreational golf courses, this one requires a collared shirt (mock, if you must) and non-denim pants (shorts work, too). The pro shop will dress you if need be.
A bonus for eco-thinking golfers: The Legendary Run counts itself among the members of the Audubon Sanctuary Program and enforces respect of the natural habitat.

Awesome Day for Golf
Excellent Conditions at a great course with outstanding service...
Really nice, really slow.
Great course, it just took 5 hours to play which is not acceptable.
WOW!!
I’ve always heard great things about this course and they were spot on! Great layout that was challenging but fun! The course is located inside of a beautiful neighborhood. Brand new carts were awesome and even came with bluetooth and speakers if you’re into music while you play. Staff also took great care of us. Well worth the green fees, I will definitely be back!
Great Course & Phenomenal Arthur Hills Design
I have not played Legendary Run in about 10 years. It is a fabulous layout & everything is in great condition for this time of years. Greens still have mixed grasses growing on them. If the new Supt. Weeds this out, it will be best layout in Cincinnati.
Excellent golf course
Loved the course. Played in winter so greens were not great. Layout was very good. Will be coming back with my golf group this spring.
Wonderful course in Cincinnati
The course is one the best public golf courses in Cincinnati, OH. The staffs are very friendly and kind to take care of all players. The green fee includes hot dog, a cup of beer or pop with chip. Green and fairway conditions are great in all seasons. Highly recommend. Thank you.
Great course
Today was a bit slow. Ranger worked hard to kick the slow foursome. Beautiful day and course was in great shape. Staff is super friendly. The food is very good and reasonably priced.
If you haven’t played at Legendary Run, you should check it out.
Great course, WAY too slow
They have to figure out the pace. 3.5 hours for the back 9. They have a ranger who did nothing to move along the foursome who ruined everyone’s afternoon. The bartender afterward thought it was a dead afternoon because no one had been in for an hour. Otherwise a great place. They just have to be serious about time.
Great condition
This was the first time I have played this course and the layout of the course was challenging yet a lot of fun. The course was also in extremely good condition. I will definitely be going back to play this course again.
Challenging
The course was in great shape. Greens fast and roll true. Fairways in great condition. Course layout is challenging.
