outstanding course
One of my favorite courses with challenges that require every club in your bag to be used.
Great pro and staff to make sure you have a great round.
Greens are a challenge....
We played on a record breaking hot day in September...but the shade of the trees made life tolerable.....and a good round!
Always a treat to play
We love this course. It has the up north feel with tree lined generous fairways. A hidden gem of a course.
Premium public course
4 HC.
Course was in very good condition. Greens were undulated but manageable. Some good elevation changes taken advantage of well.
Not a particularly long course but some good holes layout to make the course require good technical play to score.
Was also forgiving and fun even for a higher handicap guy who may lose the occasional tee shot.
We played early on a weekday, prices seemed fair based on the quality. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Definitely recommend.
A great west Michigan vacation course.
Out of towner
Drove an hour to meet up with a buddy and it was worth the trip.
A few hidden ravines got us where the needed carry was more than you could tell from where we were hitting from. Would like to give it another shot know where to be and more importantly where not to be.
Gorgeous Course!
Gorgeous and challenging course, well maintained. Nestled in the woods with the wildlife. A definite must play!
Excellent
An awesome golf track that I would recommend to all my friends. Truly impressed with the layout and design. The staff friendliness wad impeccable...
Great track in the Muskegon area
I was presently surprised how great a shape this course was. Greens were fast Fair ways were lush. The staff was very helpful and friendly and made you feel at home.
Up North Feel closer to home
Great layout in great condition. As good as anything we have played all year.
Horrible experience
Not necessarily the courses fault. But the actions of the foursome who thought they owned the place, and the ranger who made it perfectly clear to me that singles have no rights on the golf course, led to me leave the course after 12 holes. Something I've never done before in my life. That foursome skipped the 11th hole to get in front of me and leapfrogged at least 2 foursomes in the process. All without even going through the motions of asking for permission. As a single whose playing partners left after 9 holes, I caught back up to them immediately and let them know how displeased I was at their actions and lack of effort to try to stay well ahead of the people they passed. They and the ranger put the blame on me. Whatever. Enjoy your course. I'll never return.

Thank you for reviewing the course. We would like to apologize for your recent experience. We're sorry to hear you were less than satisfied during your round. We pride ourselves on our providing great service and the high-quality standards we maintain. We would like to make things right. Please reach out to our management team at the pro shop. We hope to hear from you soon.
A diamond in the rough
Excellent course conditions and an engaging playout. I think the 120 slope from the whites is a bit underrated. Several holes have challenging carrys over creeks and wetlands crossing the fairways. Bring your A game!
Great layout, but not for the timid
This highly rated course did not disappoint. Challenging layout, perfect conditions, welcoming staff. But at age 76; playing from the whites, I found the slope to be underrated with the many contours and carrys more than I could handle. And for first timers, be sure to get the course booklet from the pro shop as there are several hidden challenges just over the next hill crest.
Immaculate
The course was in immaculate condition- fairway, second cut, rough and greens were all cut perfectly- beautiful views on all holes, was a truly great experience playing here and would highly recommend.
