East/South at St. Johns Golf Club

Pass by this course at least once a week. This time I went in. Good choice on my part. The course was a little wet due to a recent rain. Still very playable just not much roll because of the damp grass. Staff was friendly and helpful. Greens, Tee boxes and fairways were all very nice. Pace of play was good and I only got held up at two holes on the front. No one in front of me on the back so I breezed through. I played well and was very happy with the course.

This course is one of the best values in area and is in great shape!! Yes greens are slow so come prepared for it and you will have a great time. Greens also have a few blemishes that crew has placed plugs to correct, overall greens are not an issue once you get the speed down. Fairways, tee boxes, and overall condition of this muny makes for a very enjoyable challenging round of golf. Yes I will continue to visit this course as I have never had a bad experience!!!

Course layout is great. Worst greens I have seen in 5yrs. Probably run a 3 on the stemp. Also had huge dead spots all over greens. The greens reminded me of a cheap par 3 course...long grass and spongy. Don't waste your time or money.

Very nice course. Driving range in good shape. A couple of blind tee shots but that's the fun of it. get it next time.

I enjoyed my day here. Risk, reward course. Its as hard or easy as you want it to be. Good shape, greens could be better, fairways very good. Staff was nice. Overall great day of golf.

This is a decent course, tees and greens were in good shape, with the West 9 being down the back 9 has some eye sores

I played this course on vacation to Saint Augustine and did not know what to expectupon arriving early the starter team to me up with two locals who had knowledge of the course and allowed me to get out early this was great and extremely helpful to me

My playing partners were Alex and Mike will play this course on a regular basis and explained to me that this course is forgiving yet challenging based on risk and reward

I was very pleased with the course as it is very well-maintained from Fairway to Green there is plenty of water obstacles and you can decide whether to risk a shot in the water or to make a better strategic decision

I would definitely go to the scores on my next trip to the area and would highly recommend it to others

I would recommend this course to all levels of golfers. It is well laid out and has a great practice area. Want putt, chip, or hit a bucket of balls this is the place you want to come to while visiting St. Austine area.

Good county course. In a drought to the area. Fairways run , greens hard.

Found this gem of a course last year on a recommendation from a local golfer while I was on vacation.

The staff is excellent and knowledgeable

Even at full price $37 with a cart it is worth the price.

Great course for the average Golfer (20hdcp) like me.

But enough challenges for the better golfer to go play.

My wife and I played this course for more than ten times during our visit to St. Augustine. It is very well organized, no delay with the tee times. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. They recognized us after a couple of times and once brought us up to play early with another twosome, even before I had checked in. I highly recommend this course to golfers going to the St. Augustine area.

Everything about this course is first rate. nice pro shop bar serves up a good lunch but the fairways and greens are what makes this little jewel really shine. pace of play was pretty bad this time and sadly there was no ranger to MENTION that three 3somes were all being held up by a 2some. Other than the pace of play it was awesome. Look forward to returning.
