Clover Valley Golf Club
About
Surrounded by dense woodlands, Clover Valley Golf Club has a secluded parkland setting that also allows for some links-style holes. The course is relatively young but it has a much older feel to it. The versatile layout has an interesting mix of holes that appeals to a variety of different tastes and abilities. There are also four sets of tees that make it even more accommodating to a range of skill levels. The layout features gently rolling fairways that are lined with trees. They are rather generously sized though, which makes them more player-friendly. The medium-sized greens are also approachable with only slight undulations. There are several lakes as well as a creek that come into play on several holes. In addition to the golf course, Clover Valley also offers extensive practice facilities including a driving range with target greens, a large putting green, and a chipping area with greenside bunkers.

Great round
I enjoy the layout. The course was in good shape, and the pace of play was fast.
Greens were aerated and bumpy. $30 for 9 and a cart @ 5:30 on a sunday was a little steep. Barely got 9 in before dark
Going downhill.
I've been golfing here for years. The course is in the worst condition I've ever seen it. It's sad, because it is such a beautiful course and I love the layout. I know the cost to maintain it is probably pretty substantial, but someone needs to give it the TLC it needs before it's too late.
Very well maintained
Course was in perfect condition. I had a late afternoon tee time, all the carts were dirty and no help in sight. Don’t care though, I’ll Still be back.
Excellent course, horrible pace
First off this is one of the best layouts and most fun designed public courses I’ve played in the Columbus area. I’m not sure if the pace was a typical problem or just something that happened that day, but you wouldn’t expect it on a weekday morning. I was playing in a 4some that had a single behind us. However we were constantly waiting on the several groups of 4 ahead of us. At one point on a par 5 there was a group on the fairway ahead of us a group on the green and 2 groups on the tee box ahead of them. We decided to let the single play with us. Our pace didn’t change at all because of this, however the ranger came out and yelled at us. So we decided to let the single play through. However as soon as he did the group ahead of us wouldn’t and we all just ended up basically playing together again. Again I’m not sure if the pace issue was a fluke or something that is common place, but it took almost 5 1/2 hours to play 18.
Comon
This course has no reason to be mixed in with New Era Golf. Charging the same rates is ridiculous.
