Indian Ridge Golf Club
About
Located just a few miles south of Oxford, Indian Ridge Golf Club sprawls across rolling countryside sprinkled with walnut and cedar trees. It's the only course around for miles, making it the default favorite for local golfers but it's also popular for the affordable rates. The location provides peaceful seclusion as well as idyllic scenery. The golf course has a classic design with plenty of variety, giving it appeal for players of all skill levels. Water hazards and bunkers come into play throughout the course, often making for difficult approaches. Indian Ridge Golf Club stretches to just over 7,000 yards from the back tees. There are some holes that will please long hitters and risk-reward opportunities that will test advanced players, but the design is still player friendly enough for high handicappers.

This course is amazing!
Everyone there is very friendly and they keep the course looking great! Love this place!
Course is in great shape
The course is in great shape even with all of the high temperatures. This course is heavily played however the tee boxes, fairways, bunkers, and greens were all in excellent condition. This course continues to be improved over the past several years. One of my favorite courses to play.
Love this course, especially the back
Yesterday we started on the back nine and it was fun. This course has so many fun and challenging holes. Love every hole (except 3). Fun that water is in play on a number of holes. Highly recommend and will play again before heading south for the winter.
This course is now in my Top 5 in Cincinnati area.
Good day.
The staff was very helpful with the explanation about the shotgun tournament that was about to start. It dis slow the pace a little bit but a Sunday and played in 4:15. Course is in very good condition for the lack of rain. Some people say it is a bit of a drive to head out toward Oxford, great that keeps the rif-raf (beginners that don't know any golf etiquette) off the course.fun layout, Highly recommend the course.
On course refreshments.. or lack thereof
Would be nice if they provided either a drink cart driving around, or a cooler on the carts...instead of only having refreshments at the turn.
Always Great
Always love playing Indian Ridge. Always in great shape. The course had lots of rain but drained really well in most spots. The greens were great. The course gets a lot of play so the greens get pretty beat up at times but they take good care of them.
Nice Course, but Course Marshal wouldn’t leave us alone
I played 18 in a foursome with my brothers, it was our first time playing at Indian Ridge and all of us are experienced golfers. We showed up 5-10 minutes early for a 4:33pm tee time and were immediately met by the marshal who rushed us to the tee box, saying we were running behind schedule and were late (even though we weren’t late, and we were the last group off the box for the day due to league play)
The Marshal directed us to the 10th hole and told us to play 10-18 then circle back to hit 1-9 to let the leagues get their matches done. This wasn’t a big deal to us and we were happy to start on 10. The marshal gave us a few pointers for how to approach the hole which were appreciated, and off he went. Or so we thought. The Course Marshal followed us within 50-100 yards for 14 of the 17 total holes we were able to play. He repeatedly came up and talked to our group in excess holding up our play, and then later in the round changed his tune on our group and told us to pick up the pace because we were going too slow to complete the course before close (8:30).
We’re not sure if we were followed because the marshal was just bored and wanted to watch us play, or if it was because of our ages (18-25 yo) but the experience left a sour taste in all of our mouths. I’m sure Indian Ridge deals with a lot of drunk college students acting like fools, Miami University is right up the road, but we weren’t drinking and we all agreed that had we been left alone from the beginning, we would have been able to finish the entire round before dark.
Fun track, but...
At no fault of the course, the greens were pitched up terribly. TERRIBLY. So bad that a 10-foot putt required me to fix at least two pitch marks before putting. That's the fault of the golfer, not the course, but it's a shame nonetheless.
What the course could have done better was speak to the twosome giving lessons on the course. Our threesome watched a guy putt a ball six times from the same spot while receiving instruction between each putt while we stood on the tee box of the par three 8th. After we played the par three in its entirety, we met up with the twosome still on the tee box of the ninth, with the cart parked on the tee box with them and more instruction and multiple balls being hit. We asked if we could hit and play through, but there was a language barrier, and they hit into us after we tried playing through. Considering the ranger was following us to ensure we would get the carts in by 8:30, someone had to notice this poor behavior.
slow pace, but the course is superb
Too many hackers on the course slow the pace of play.
The greens are in decent condition considering how many hackers don't fix their divots.
Greens almost perfect
Fairways are great.
Rough not so high you can’t find balls.
Will play again.
