About
Editor's Note: Course closed for business in 2018.
Conveniently located less than 20 minutes from Walt Disney World, Kissimmee Golf Club provides a pleasant escape for tourists looking for an affordable round of golf. Although it is situated near several tourist attractions, the golf course is also a favorite among local golfers. The course dates back to the early 1940's, but 18 holes were officially established in 1962 and since then, the tees and greens have been updated to provide better putting surfaces and more challenges. In addition to the golf course, Kissimmee Golf Club offers practice facilities for golfers to use, including one of the largest grass driving ranges in the country.

goood golf day
course was in good shape the new owners have really done a good job play the course you will enjoy it
Fun time
First time playing the course. we played with a gent from Ireland and one from England. what a fun experience. the course was ok, the greens were a bit small and slow. putting the sprinklers on in front of us was weird. had some wet greens. the alligator liked the water. loved all the planes taking off and landing. would I play there again. yes I would. friendly staff and starter.
Challenging at tines
This course is old but definitely worth playing. It's located next to an airport so you have to acclimate yourself to a pretty busy airport.
A relatively easy golf course
Although the round of golf was booked through Golf Now when we arrived only the front nine holes were available to play. No discount or refund was provided
Flat and short
Not to much too see. Good warm up or practice course. A few nice holes. Fairways in good shape. Greens hard.
Flat, Smooth and Enjoyable
Other reviews have mentioned how flat this course is, and that's fine with us. The only things that weren't were the greens - some were elevated, but most were at least undulating, which made them challenging at times. Bunkers and water also come into play on a lot of the holes, but not a lot of rough because it had just been mowed.
The fairways and greens seemed in top shape - balls went forever on the fairways and the greens rolled true 90% of the time.
The course is well kept and the staff are cordial, helpful and accommodating. Because of the proximity to the Kissimmee Airport there are planes, jets and helicopters buzzing near, but we didn't mind because we like to watch planes land and take off anyway.
We took advantage of an offer on a sign as we headed in from the 18th green - "Loved our course? Play again now for $12." We were only able to get another 13 in because of daylight restrictions.
We enjoyed ourselves so much we went back a couple of days later and plan to return when we are back in the area.
Fun & Fair
Great Value . Hats off to the grounds crew. Nice greens. Never played next to an airport.. But what a treat seeing a P51 Mustang take off and a fighter jet . Will be back.
Good value for money
Course was in good condition, fairways OK, greens good, intermediate fast, mostly easy to read. The course has dried up now, was pretty wet until last week.
Restaurant has not opened for the season yet.
Very reasonably priced, good value for money.
Well take care of course.
Great shape. Has been well taken care of. It was a pleasure to play there.
Very good
Fairways are good.
Green needs neat and little bit of weeds.
Layout was a little confusing
Inexpensive Easy Round
Booked with GN for Early morning round, checked in and played within minutes. Everything was great! Great value.
stay away from the rain
The course seemed to be a well designed, enjoyable one. However, if it has rained I would recommend staying away. The front nine had so much mud and standing water it was unpleasant. My nice golf shoes are now disgusting along with a pair of no longer white socks because it was that wet. The back nine was nicer and less squishy.
Bad day at Kissimmee
The course is laid out next to an airport, fire department training area and go cart track. The course drains poorly with standing water over seventy percent of the course. Wet weather will prompt closing of the driving range and navigating the course with a golf cart is challenging due to the standing water on the cart path. A fair course for the money but should not be played while wet.
Good for Beginners
First time tried my hands at Golf and I am loving it! Only if the weather was not bad and no overnight rain would have made this a 5*. Staff is good but beware of other members.. they like to poke into your business.. felt sorry for the guy who worked there. Anyways overall it was a good experience. Go for it!
The course is flat but still challenging
This is the 3rd time we've played this course and even though is was very wet, we enjoyed it. The greens were a little slow but considering how hot it ha been in Florida, they were in good shape. We enjoy the fact that is right next to a small airport and see vintage planes taking off and landing. We were also teamed with a very nice gentlemen. We also enjoy meeting new people on the golf course.
Friendly small town feeling
You know you've been to those courses in small towns, all of us have. This course was reasonably priced and the people were very nice. Their conditions were less than desirable because of the rain that had been here the week before. It was amazing that they say they still play even under worst conditions when they have small lakes on each of the holes. By the way these lakes come and go and are actually hazards. They really should have other hot food besides hot dogs. Budgets are thin I guess . Overall course was fair but I don't know if I would go back.
Kissimmee Country Club
The course was for the most part well kept. The front nine was a bit mushy due to recent rain in the area but the back nine was in great shape. Although the $2 environmental fee was a put off, the meal more than made up for it. The manager in the kitchen area was very friendly, courteous, and provided a great lunch for the special booked.
Nice course for the money
After reading the reviews here, I decided to check out this course. It's a really nice course that is great for all skill levels, but beginners and intermediate players will find it very accommodating. Overall, the course is in great condition, from tee to green, and the crews were busy sprucing up the place all during the time that I was there - and it shows. If there are any negatives with this course, it has to do with the soggy conditions in places, but in all fairness, that is due to the frequent rains that we have during the summer - so just be aware of this when you go. Being next to the airport was a real treat, seeing the planes come and go. This is a really nice course for the money, it was worth the drive, and I do plan to be a frequent visitor.
