About
Editor's Note: Course closed for business in 2018.
Conveniently located less than 20 minutes from Walt Disney World, Kissimmee Golf Club provides a pleasant escape for tourists looking for an affordable round of golf. Although it is situated near several tourist attractions, the golf course is also a favorite among local golfers. The course dates back to the early 1940's, but 18 holes were officially established in 1962 and since then, the tees and greens have been updated to provide better putting surfaces and more challenges. In addition to the golf course, Kissimmee Golf Club offers practice facilities for golfers to use, including one of the largest grass driving ranges in the country.

Enjoyable afternoon of golf
On vacation from snow in Detroit and was very pleased with my selection of this golf coarse. The staff was outstanding . Word that comes to mind is (Professional). Everyone from the person that gave directions to the course to the staff and ranger who gave assistance when needed. My cart seemed to be newer and my wife (Non player) was happy to ride with me and the group I was teamed with. Coarse was just right for my 3 year skill level which were mostly Par 3 (s) however their were several challenging holes along the way. I just wish their snack / Sandwich shop was up and running when I made the turn. I will be returning on my next visit. Overall 5 STARS
Unable to Play
Unable to play. Golfnow had two time left for 12.31 one resident ,one non-resident, I took the resident and paid the fee. then went back to the site to book my buddie in and the time had gone. Therefore I have lost my fee charge. We rang the golf club and they were fair and so far has not charged the round as I said I would not play without my friend being able to play. The next available time would not have allowed us to complete the round. One should be able to book two people without the hassle of going to the tee times page twice.
There must be many residents who want to bring a friend.
Pleasantly surprised!
I was pleasantly surprised to find the course in much better playing condition than last year.
The greens were not fast but good. Overall it was good to play.
The greens were OK.
The greens had a good stand of grass. A good course for the money, if you don't mind the noise of airplanes taking off & landing. May have enjoyed it more, but the weather was cold & wind was blowing causing it to be uncomfortable.
Pleasantly surprised
Fun and fair course for the value. Conditions were very good and consistent. Will play again.
Nice course, poor choices
I made my tee time the morning I played. Got there about 30 minutes before my round. Checked in at the clubhouse, was told to see the starter at the first tee box. There is no signage nor was I given directions to the tee. I asked a few gentlemen at the practice green where the 1st tee was and found the starter. Checked in with him and was told my name wasn't on the list. I told him it was just myself and didn't care if I went off alone. Was told I would have to wait and he would put me with a twosome he has going off in a bit. I said fine and was paired with a few guys. I am 58 and retired and just enjoy getting out on a course. The two men I was paired with were late 20's, early 30's. We teed off when I realized they were playing out of the same bag. I not only had to watch my own shot but both of theirs as well.
The course is in good condition, the greens are painted green to make them look better. I lost my partners after the front nine and finished the back by myself. Needless to say the back nine was so much more enjoyable.
This was a nice straight course but I wouldn't recommend it, there are so many nicer courses with friendlier staff at the same price.
Major improvment
I played the course a couple of times 2yrs ago and it was poor. There has been major improvment to fairways and greens, well worth the deal I got through golfnow
First time visit...
This was the first time we'd played Kissimmee Golf Club...and trying to work out how this is the case, as played many courses in the area.
The welcome from the staff was very friendly. The course was in very good condition, with greens playing well, if not a little slow. This was no problem whatsoever.
The pace of play was painfully slow to start off with, but there was a 4 ball in front of us, who were playing for the Ryder Cup. Yes, I realise we were playing as a 2 ball and we are bound to be waiting on shots...but please have a little bit of etiquette, if you are going to spend 10 minutes searching for golf balls on the second hole.
Fortunately, a local guy joined us on the second tee (whilst we were still waiting), so we invited him to join us. Playing as a three ball, slowed us down a little, so the pace of play wasn't too much of an issue. He gave us guidance of where to place our golf balls...just a pity we couldn't hit them where he was guiding us to!!
Since we played there, we have visited again - and again it was in very good shape.
The green fees were very reasonable and the company was excellent, so all in all an enjoyable round of golf.
Good value
Course was in decent condition. Good value for your money.
Cheap & Cheerful
Got this deal on GN for $12 including the cart, what's not to like.
The greens were outstanding and the fairways good.
All this course needs is a little TLC.
Single player and got round in 2 hrs, really enjoyed it and would definitely play again when in the Kissimmee area.
Great value
Interesting course, very inexpensive, I found the planes and helicopters an interesting distraction between shots.
Best condition ever
I've played this course for 20 years and never seen it this good.
The greens, although a little slow , had a surface quality that you would expect to pay a $79 green fee for.
Twilight rates are fantastic value for money.
We got round in 2hrs 50minutes (well, we are from the UK!).
better than before
nice new greens, very good charts. fresh en clean restaurant.
Well laid out.
Really good value through GOLF NOW. Had good weather. Got myself in trouble a few times but the course itself was in great shape. Not a lot of hazards.
Great for price we paid
The course was wet and needed attention but the greens were good. Back nine much cleaner than front. We got a hot deal from Golf Now so can't complain.
We are casual golfers looking for a fun date. Suited our needs.
Don't expect a lot from it and you will be pleasantly surprised.
Fun Course
Enjoyable Golf. Good pace. Cool Aircraft at the airport nearby. P51 mustang.
Great little course
Played the round in 2 hours 40 minutes on Saturday morning as a two ball.
The course was in good shape.
Went in the pro shop to get a coffee after 9 holes, but they said it was complimentary and they also gave us some free doughnuts.
The staff were very friendly as always.
Have played this course many times over the past fifteen years and not a bad word to say about it.
Great value
Kissimmee is a course that I've played 5 or 6 times on trips out to Disney over the years, and with one exception I've always enjoyed it. There are better courses in the area, but for the money you pay it's hard to beat.
On this occasion I played it after heavy rain the night before, and it was a little wet in places. However, it was generally holding out pretty well.
The greens are small and frequently raised, but there aren't too many holes where the fairways could be described as tight.
I'm looking forward to my next visit, when hopefully I'll play it a little bit better.
Best for the money
We are both 14 handicaps and played this place for $10. each including cart....can't be beat...it is long enough for the middle handicapper and was in great shape considering the rain that had fallen in the past few days...the staff were great and the pace of play was excellent..3 hours for 18...for that money it is head and shoulders above other courses in the area that are at least 2 and sometimes 3 times more expensive...we played it 3 times while here the past 2 weeks...
Very Helpful Staff
Played this course as a last minute choice as we had not booked anywhere for Saturday 21st Nov.
Must admit to being a little sceptical after playing Kissimmee Golf & Country Club where the course conditions were poor.
Arrived just before 10am and was told we could start straight away - green fee was only $24 . The pro shop manager and starter were very obliging.
The course overall and in particular the greens were very good and despite being held up for 3 holes by 4 obvious beginners we still completed our round in a little over 3 hours. If you are looking for prestine Disney style conditions then this is probably not for you however if you are reasonable golfers who enjoy good golf at reasonable cost then you should be well satisfied with Kissimmee Golf Club.
