Clearwater Country Club

Tee time was for mid afternoon. Didn’t tee off until 50 minutes behind my tee time. Would’ve played 18 but it was dark by the time 9 was over. Need more carts or to book less times so the course isn’t overwhelmed.

I had a 3pm tee time on a Friday. When we arrived an hour early we were told they were running about 15 minutes behind. The reason was they booked the course so tight they didn't have enough carts for the golfers. When our tee time came they still had 4 fourso mes they were waiting on carts for, not enough to keep golfers moving g at steady times, creating many bottlenecks on the course. We finally get out and at the turn about 515pm the entire facility wS locked up and closed other than 2-3 guys collecting carts as they came in. There were still a lot of people on the course both ahead and behind us. No access to bathrooms, no bar or restaurant. When asked if we could use the rest room the answer we got was sorry locked up nothing g we can do.. what a disappointment! Then they send a guy out to start pulling flags so you had to leave the course. We played 13 holes that day, no rain check or discount just take the money and run. If you wNt to finish at this course don't book a time before noon-1pm, don't expect any amenities after 5pm they lock up and leave there paying g customers abandoned on the course with no concern for there comfort or well being..if there were a medical emergency it could be devastating with no access to the club house or the facilities. Bad customer service with an uncaring attitude from the staff this course should be a negative 5 stars, completely dissatisfied and unimpressed with the whole experience

Golf course dangerous to received balles from other players.

Any course good enough for PGA Golf Legend John Daly is good enough for me!

Overall the course was in decent shape. The greens are tight/small but in good shape. The tee times were behind 20 minutes as they were letting out club members. Overall the pace of play was decent. Fairways were decent as well as the tee boxes. A little pricey for the type of course but it is prime time for play. Staff in nice and so are the accommodations. A lot of back and forth on the holes on the front nine so watch out for the wayward shots. I will play CCC again, especially in the summer when the prices go down.

The course is generally not in great shape but it's not the worst either. Tee times are overbooked. A group of 7 were ahead of us, making our round over 5 hours long. This is unacceptable.

From start to finish. It wasn’t a good experience. I arrived 15 minutes before my tee time. The starter was flabbergasted. Guy looked like his head was going to explode. I was told to go straight to the tee box. There were two groups in front of me on the tee box. Waited 25 minutes to tee off….. took 5 hours to finish. No rangers. Can’t believe people pay for memberships here.

We had a 2 PM tee time, but did not get out until 2:40 or so. Extremely slow pace of play and we were only able to get in 16.5 holes before a staff person came by and told us we had to get off the course. My friend was on the green and he was not allowed to putt out. The course has a number of holes that run next to a street so stray shots must be a menace for people living around the course. An upside was that John Daly was making the turn before we got started.

we had a 1:45 tee time and they were running about 30 to 40 minutes late. didn't have enough carts to go around. we like the course and would play it again. greens really fast and challenging

Good day only thing when you call for tee time they should tell there was a big tournament and play was going to be backed up by 30 minutes and you have to wait for a golf cart
