About
Located just minutes from the beach, the conveniently situated Clearwater Country Club sprawls across a coastal landscape of Spanish moss-draped trees and towering, mature oaks. Stevenson Creek meanders through the golf course, coming into play on six holes. Built in 1920, the layout has a traditional design that is challenging but fair. The course is tight but it plays long, especially on the par 5s. The rolling fairways are well manicured and the greens play at medium speed and are consistently well maintained. Clearwater C.C. actually has a reputation amongst locals for its superb conditions. It is also popular with visitors, snowbirds specifically, since the club offers the area's only seasonal and short-season membership with exclusive privileges. It is also one of the few clubs in the area that allows walking.

Clear view
The course is in beautiful shape, pace was real good . And weather was great
Horrible
We were 30 past our t time and by hole 3 there were 12 carts waiting. I left after almost 5 hours and still had 4 holes to go. I would 100% go to another course especially when it cost 50$ to play. You can actually have a fun round elsewhere. I would cancel my charge if I could.
Excellent
The staff treats patrons very well. The course is in great shape. This is one of the few Clearwater area courses with consistent grass coverage on the fairways. A few greens had some damage from a fungus or something but they all rolled smooth. I recommend this course. It's excellent.
Good course
Overall course was nice, but back nine greens are much better than the front. Well worth the money no complaints
Got to play with good people
Wonderful guys I played with had a very nice game. Golf course was in great shape

Great layout with excellent views. Cart person available and very friendly. Several facilities throughout. Always enjoy playing here.
Had to buddy up with a couple
This couple I had to play with should have been on range at this time of skills
The Definition of Average
Perfectly fine course to play, but nothing special. Was mostly quite disappointed to arrive 20 minutes before my 7:22am tee time only to be told “it’ll be another 15 minutes” because there were “a couple” groups of members ahead of us. In reality, there were four groups of members who didn’t tee off until 7:30 and we didn’t tee off until after 8. Not sure why they would even offer a 7:22 tee time when it was clearly unavailable. Management wasn’t understanding nor interested in trying to make it right. Beyond that, the course is average at best. Fine to play, but wouldn’t go out of your way.
