About
Located just minutes from the beach, the conveniently situated Clearwater Country Club sprawls across a coastal landscape of Spanish moss-draped trees and towering, mature oaks. Stevenson Creek meanders through the golf course, coming into play on six holes. Built in 1920, the layout has a traditional design that is challenging but fair. The course is tight but it plays long, especially on the par 5s. The rolling fairways are well manicured and the greens play at medium speed and are consistently well maintained. Clearwater C.C. actually has a reputation amongst locals for its superb conditions. It is also popular with visitors, snowbirds specifically, since the club offers the area's only seasonal and short-season membership with exclusive privileges. It is also one of the few clubs in the area that allows walking.

They have no conscious...Play at your own risk
Tee time was @ 1pm. They overbooked the course and we could not get a golf cart until 130pm, Finally teed of 45min after our tee time, They put me with a 2 some that never played golf before and was allowed to play even though they had only one golf bag with only one set of clubs for 2 players. What a nightmare. Seems like if you have the 40 bucks plus tax you can play here, No ranger to help move the golf ball searchers or the lessons takers so there were may delays on the course.
No beverage cart at this course. The golf cart paths leading to the next hole were closed because of railroad track work and NO detour signs anywhere leading to mass confusion and people being lost all over the place.
Only got in 15 holes before dark, I feel bad for the may golfers behind me who were booked to 315pm(I asked the started who told me last tees time for the day was 315pm)

Great condition
I was very impressed with everything- clubhouse, staff, tees, fairways and greens. Best value in Pinellas County
nice course for seniors
pretty good shape and relative easy for seniors like me which is why I like playing here. T-eed off after lunch and breeze through with no delay.
Great course
Great place to play while visiting Clearwater. Starter and staff are friendly. Course layout was great. Pace of play little slow but it was peak season in Florida. I was grouped up with a few locals that where great folks. A must play while on vacation from the cold weather back home.

Winter Golf
Book thru Golf now with a Hot deal and promo deal. Little cool,, played with a nice couple from Wisconsin in 2 hrs and 45 mins for the 18 holes.
Nice course.
This course is a back and forth track, with fairways right next tti each other. Be careful of balls from either left or right. Thes greens are excellent. The fairways are good. The surrounding areas are fair.
It is obvious that the course gets lots of play, due to the wear and tear, much like a municipal course.
That said, it is ultra convenient to Clearwater Beach, and you can drive there, play, and be back in 5 hours.
Our pace of play was fantastic, 3 hours and 45 minutes.
The greens are mostly raised and are undulating. Difficult to putt, but are in great shape. The course is relatively short, but the greens make you pay if you're not paying attention.
I made 3 NW friends this morning and had fun. Give it a try.
Good for the Price
Course was in good shape. Only complaint was pace of play, but can’t expect much when the weather is perfect for golf and everyone wants to get out there. Front 9 greens were inconsistent on speed, but back 9 were well groomed and very consistent.
Good course but pace can be slow
Was behind a league and had to wait on every hole. Will avoid playing here as it can be very frustrating. Otherwise it is a good course for the price.
