About
Located just minutes from the beach, the conveniently situated Clearwater Country Club sprawls across a coastal landscape of Spanish moss-draped trees and towering, mature oaks. Stevenson Creek meanders through the golf course, coming into play on six holes. Built in 1920, the layout has a traditional design that is challenging but fair. The course is tight but it plays long, especially on the par 5s. The rolling fairways are well manicured and the greens play at medium speed and are consistently well maintained. Clearwater C.C. actually has a reputation amongst locals for its superb conditions. It is also popular with visitors, snowbirds specifically, since the club offers the area's only seasonal and short-season membership with exclusive privileges. It is also one of the few clubs in the area that allows walking.

Great day at CCC
The course is very green and in good condition. The greens were slow, perhaps due to the rain the previous day. My only complaint is the greens were a bit bumpy in spots. We like golfing here because of its good conditions and very good value.
It took five and half hours to play the course. Had to wait on every shot.
Tough Course
Fast greens. Need to be able to play target golf. Bridge need to be repaired.
Restaurant
Overall course was good only thing restaurant closed to early
Beyond slow. FIVESOMES
We were behind 8 consecutive fivesomes. I really don’t need to say much more. There were a lot of things I would have enjoyed about this old course but that is something that should never happen. Unfortunately will never be back. Played front 9 in 3 hrs and left
Overprice
Course in bad condition overall - rough, fairways, greens, and cart paths. This is a municipal course. It is overpriced for $75, $30 would be fair.
Nice course in the city
A nice short course in the heart of Clearwater.. A little sandy on the greens, but otherwise good!
Good value
Overall good course conditions, and pace of play was good
Slow play and no water on course or cart person not good should be better
Worst experience to date
Pull up 30 minutes early for 12:30 tee time only for it to be extremely obvious that they overbooked and was as a cart shortage. Got out around 12:55 and was extremely backed up.
Foursomes ahead were playing multiple balls with no recourse from the golf course, seems all of the starters efforts for maintaining time went out the door after the first hole.
Worst experience I’ve had since playing this course a handful of times within the last year and probably won’t be back. Stop trying to make a week’s worth of money in a single weekend day and watch your golfer’s mood change.
