Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club
About
The Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club, centrally located on McMullen Booth Road a comparably short course, offering just 5,454 yards from the blue tees and a slope rating of 118. Most of the fairways are wide, making errant shots still playable. In essence, it is the ideal place to work on your golf game, to correct that nasty slice or learn to hit that oversized driver without fear of losing 100 balls. As a result, it is a favorite among novice golfers who want to be challenged but also have an enjoyable round.

More signage needed
On a beautiful, sunny day, we expected course to be crowded. But the pace of play was frustratingly slow. Course in excellent shape. Some tee boxes (white) were hard to locate for first-timers, especially Nos. 8 and 10. More visible directions might be helpful.
Chi chi on a tuesday
Very enjoyable course. Great layout and definitely some challenges if you haven’t played there. Even an alligator in one of the lakes.
sunday play pretty good
We finished in 4.25 hours. Windy conditions but greens are ever improving.
Good course
Well maintained and challenging enough for all levels.
Good & Slow
I have played Chi Chi three times in the past two weeks , each time hoping there would be a steward or somebody monitoring the threesomes or the foursomes on the course . We have played behind three groups , 1st foursome was two elderly females with two elderly males , they were very , very slow , criss crossing the fairway discussing every shot , never thinking that there could be a golfer behind them, just bad manners .
The threesome in front of them were clearly not good golfers , they discussed every shot , replayed their errant shots and to make things bad , they played from the blue tees , taking five or six strokes before getting near the green .
The foursome in front of them were people from another culture , they were playing from the blu tees , none of them striking the ball no further than seventy five yards , having lengthy conversations after each bad shot , when they finally reached the green they would plumb line with their putter as if they knew what they were doing , just wasting time , these guy’s were asked to speed up at the turn but they simply laughed , Steward needed badly .
Go play it.We will be back soon.
Nice greens. Some tees need care. We saw an eagle, but didn't get any birds. It will be on our February rotation every year.
Great Course!
Have played this course many times over the last 4 winters and it’s my favorite in the area. Love the new carts. Greens are in excellent shape!
Great place to have fun
Tee to green in great condition. Staff was friendly pace of play could of been better but it’s peak season in late January. Teamed up with some locals that where friendly and new the course , so there help was tremendous on where to place your shots. Will be back for sure.
