The Chi Chi Rodriguez Golf Club, centrally located on McMullen Booth Road a comparably short course, offering just 5,454 yards from the blue tees and a slope rating of 118. Most of the fairways are wide, making errant shots still playable. In essence, it is the ideal place to work on your golf game, to correct that nasty slice or learn to hit that oversized driver without fear of losing 100 balls. As a result, it is a favorite among novice golfers who want to be challenged but also have an enjoyable round.

Course is in great shape. Beautiful and very nice layout.
Great place to play,
Great place to play, Course is in good shape. A lot of workers out there though. A league slowed us down for quite a while I was told by the 3 groups waiting ahead of us. Starter was great, very polite. Clayton(name on my receipt) in Pro Shop is odd. Can you teach him to greet people properly and not be rude. Second time I had this uncomfortable experience.
Great Course, Great Shape, Needs Marshalls!
Groups pretty much do whatever they want and didn't care about pace of play or other golfers. Since this is a teaching course, they should help beginners by having Marshalls direct play.
Chi Chi Ridriquez
Very nice course in very good condition. Some holes are very tricky if you don't know the course. Starter was not at the first tee to tell us about the course. Overall, we really liked the course and will play again.
Nice track
The course was in great shape overall. Greens were very fast and true. Fairways were perfect.
They are installing a new sprinkler system and are almost completed with the project.
This is a hidden gem for all golfers.
Much Improved Course
We winter in Dunedin and have played Chi Chi previously. Last year we did not play the course as conditions had gotten very poor. Gave it a try Nov. 15, 2024 and are very pleased to report they have greatly improved conditions. Very playable golf course..
November golf
The course was in great shape after weathering 2 hurricanes. Sand traps were full of sand and greens are smooth after being aerated not long ago.
Some construction going on with the watering system is being replaced.
Beaware be very aware! BTW I love this course!
Sand covered greens with way too much sand! Played there on 9/21 and the greens were recently punched and man I get it, it has to be done.
Returned 10/19 to recently top dressed greens and some of the greens had soo much sand they looked like ice.
I will be back, but goot lowred, it needs at least two more weeks!
