Magnolia Landing Golf & Country Club

I was able to get a pretty good deal and tee time at Magnolia Landing. I was a bit disappointed in the fact that while you could tell the course was watered, there were a lot of dry spots an the greens did not hold as well as they should. You could also tell that we were in season as it took over 4 1/2 hours to play. Several groups of golfers held up play and no marshals were available to "move them along". I also note that the holes on the putting greens were ragged around the edges and I could tell that they had not been changed in several days or more.

Even with these facts, I still enjoy the layout and the shot making needed to play the course.

For $114 a round we thought it would have been in better shape. There are others in the area in much better shape for less.

Friendly staff. Cool weather so course was not full. Pace of play was very good. Challenging course with water on most holes. Very enjoyable experience

No way with the shape of Fairways 3 greens have fungus on them. Way overpriced for this course

The course charged us $135 to play. The tee boxes were in horrible condition, the fairways had no grass and in horrible condition, the greens were horrible condition. This course is not worth the money. I would rather play Herons Glen which is the next course north of here.

Weather was great. Course was pretty open for the afternoon and being in season. Tee boxes were really good on all the holes. Some players just need to know how to fill there own divots in the tee boxes. The fairway about 85 yards out from the green on Hole 16 needs some love. The green on 17 needs some love. Always like the guys at the end. Wipe off my clubs and chit chat a little. GREAT DAY OF GOLF.

Weather was brisk, which probably helped pace of play, as the course was not busy. We enjoyed the layout, got good rolls on the fairway, and the greens were in good shape.

Great lay out just in really bad shape. Very brown and greens were very slow for this type of course. Not sure what happened as we had to roll the ball to get decent lies. Tee boxes were basically sand with little grass growing growing... I hope it gets better.

Course played well. Greens were in good shape but extremely slow. Fun layout, great staff, prices on the beer cart were fair. I would say it’s at the top end for the price it was offered for and the golf course I played. I would not pay any more to play. Would recommend had a good time.
